We wonder when the last time was that Ubisoft was able to actually announce an Assassin's Creed without a leak? The upcoming Game Informer magazine has revealed that Egyptian instalment Assassin's Creed Origins will release on 27th October. Whoops.
More details are now being corroborated by those who have copies of the latest issue, with a couple of highlights being the ability to ride camels, a much bigger focus on wildlife that includes animals attacking you and each other, underwater swimming, and a skill system and point allocation more akin to an RPG.
In true Ubisoft fashion, the article also confirms a pre-order bonus mission titled Secret Of The First Pyramids, and deluxe editions that pack in Season Passes and steelbooks, which corroborates information spotted in a previous leak.

I'm hyped. The Ancient Egyptian setting has potential to be awesome.
They can leak the name, a few details and the release date for all I care, often its the first official game-play trailer that can make or break a game...
I'm quite looking forward to this after playing Syndicate. I thought this one had dual protagonists too?
