Sony boss Kaz Hirai has talked extensively about how he wants to unify the company’s different divisions, and this could be considered an example of that: Breaking Bad – which was produced by Sony Pictures Television – is to receive a PlayStation VR experience, with series creator Vince Gilligan on hand to lead the project.
While it won’t be a game – Variety describes the project as a “virtual reality experience” – it’s being touted as a means to keep the popular crime series alive, following the airing of its final episode in 2013. The tie-in’s not due out until next year, but an internal game team within PlayStation’s ranks is busy working on bringing it to life.

Best show ever created.
I'm still waiting for a TV show to hook me like BB did.
Umm, okay. As much as I loved the show, I'm not sure what they could do with VR.
I only watched episode 3 today, I've been meaning to get to it for years but reasons, but I could see it working as an experience, if only for fans.
They need to make the That 70's Show experience. Sitting around the table, imbibing, telling jokes, seeing if you can alter your conscious enough to forget it's VR and think you're really there.
So anybody see Apple flaunting VR today? It's going mainstream. Only real question is if it's a motion and 3D type fad or takes off like smartphones. I'm still on the fence.
I loved the show. But making meth in VR may not go over well...
Great - I hope this shows me how to make quality grade blue meth because that worked out well for Walter and his chums.
Now, SAY MY NAME.
@Splat try game of thrones 😉
It's a shame the show is crap. Wouldn't something Sci Fi make more sense.
