You know that amazing God of War trailer Sony showed off during its press conference last night? For our money, the exclusive title has the best graphics of any game that we've seen at this year's E3 - but guess what? It's only going to look even better on PS4 Pro.
Yep, that's right: the footage used in the aforementioned trailer was captured on a standard PlayStation 4, according to director Corey Barlog. Considering the title's still got a while to go before its eventual release in early 2018, that's seriously impressive. You can catch Barlog's full interview with Geoff Keighley above.

Given I didn't watch the trailer in 4k on my 4k TV I kinda expected the end result would ultimately look better!
(And the ear wax advert between the article and the comments is absolutely gross, I've been dodging it all day, it's ruined my day off and I demand satisfaction!)
Kratos has one glorious dad-beard.
Wow. After watching that trailer, I told my wife I would be getting a 4K TV and a Pro, and she agreed after watching it. It's going to look BETTER though? Oh my eyes!
What was actually captured on pro?
God of is the best looking game ever.wow
REALLY? that is surprising i was sure it was on Pro
but if that's the case that's great
I watched a small 1080p stream so couldn't tell it was only a PS4. I would argue that other games looked more impressive - Metro and Anthem for example - even Uncharted looked better too but that's not to say this wasn't impressive...
@BAMozzy I thought GOW looked a little rough but since it's go some time hopefully they smooth out the movement and tighten up those visuals
Never underestimate the power of playstation
@B-I-G-DEVIL Spiderman was, confirmed by Insomniac.
@kyleforrester87 I've been thinking the same thing, that earwax ad is pretty nasty....
But on subject, if that was on standard PS4 then I can't wait to see it on pro. All the trailers I watched from E3 were stunning. Gonna be a good year of gaming! 😉
