A three episode series
After rumours made the rounds a month or so ago, a prequel to the 2015 hit Life Is Strange has been officially announced, titled Life Is Strange: Before The Storm.
The first episode launches on 31st August, with a further two episodes coming after that. The three episode series will focus on the story of Rachel and Chloe, before Max came back onto the scene.

Great news, revisiting old friends is hella good.
Very excited for this - and the fact that it's only three episodes gives me confidence.
Knowing what I do after playing LIS, the prospect of playing through Rachel and Chloe's story might be a bit...emotional.
Cool. Looking forward to playing as Chloe during her attitude change to a punky wild teen.
Interesting to note that this isn't being developed by the original game creators DONTNOD - who are busy working on their own sequel to the game.
It seems like Deck Nine Games - the developers who are handling this prequel - want to go along the right path of the game though which looks promising.

And it is up for preorder in psn. 17 euros. There is also a 25 euros edition with some extras and a bonus episode. I may preorder later
I am happier with it getting the prequel treatment now I know it is only a three episode series. That said, it isn't DONTNOD so quality may not be the same. They cant keep the time travelling thing going for this one I would guess?
Always wanted to know more about Rachel and Chloe so I welcome this mini series.

I just finished the first episode and I am now downloading the rest (I thought they already did, they didn't). I was extremely sceptical as I usually hate games like this.
I like the game so far. I think the faults and cringe make all that more charming too. I don't like Chloe thoigh. Maybe that will change. She reminds me of my sister.... That might be why.
