This sounds wonderful on paper, it’s just a shame Focus Home Interactive doesn’t have more than a teaser trailer to show yet. A Plague Tale: Innocence is set in 1349, as a great plague ravages France. You’ll play as a boy and a girl named Hugo and Amicia, as you attempt to outrun the Inquisition and a swarm of supernatural rats.

From the blurb: “On their journey, they will have to join forces with other orphans and evade swarms of rats using fire and light. Aided by the link that binds their fates together, the children will face the darkest days of history in their struggle to survive.”

It sounds good, but we’ll need to see more gameplay before coming to any real conclusions. Nice concept, though, and a great trailer – consider us intrigued.
