It would take a cold heart to turn down more Uncharted, and if you’ve been itching for another dose of grandiose adventure then The Lost Legacy should meet your needs when it releases on the PlayStation 4 later this year. Sony showed off several minutes of gameplay as part of its PlayStation Live stream earlier today, and there’s good mix of combat and exploration on display.
While the gameplay will perhaps look a little overly familiar to some – this is still Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End at its core – we’re intrigued by the narrative and setting, and as a budget release, we have a sneaking suspicion this is going to sell very well.

As fanboy-ish as this may sound, I'm always up for more Uncharted, and especially more Naughty Dog games.
Looks absolutely solid as you'd expect, but I wonder whether Chloe and Nadine are expansive enough characters to keep the story interesting. Chloe's always been a sidekick of sorts and Nadine is all business in Uncharted 4.
That said, Naughty Dog has some of the best writers in the business, so I'm sure they'll find a way to make it work.
I'm looking forward to it. I kind of hope they continue to release spinoffs like this. Even if Drake's story is over, I think there is still more they can do with the series.
@ShogunRok
I truly believe Nadine is the worst character this series has ever seen but I love Chloe. With good writing, she can carry the game. Just wish Cutter was her sidekick or hell, even Sully.
I liked Nadine...
More uncharted is good, day one for me
Nadine was boring. It felt like the writers were too preoccupied with making her as tough and strong as possible to give her any actual personality.
Also a little disappointed by this trailer. The reveal footage for the game was great: I could barely even tell it was Uncharted at first. It seemed like a really cool spinoff of the Uncharted franchise with more of a focus on open-air stealth and tense social environments. This trailer just makes the game look like the same old Uncharted without Nathan Drake, though. That's not good for me: Uncharted largely works because Nathan Drake is inherently likable with his boyish machismo and irreverent attitude toward danger. No offense to Elena, but is she really going to be anywhere near as fun of a character to play as?
Chloe always struck me as a bit smug, and served as a sort of femme fatale which just didn't work.
Nadine was the usual "ZOMG BADASS FEMALE" but just didn't have anything to set her apart except the world's most irritating accent. She was no Aloy, or Siri, hell they weren't even the protagonist from WET (member WET? THRILLHO members).
Fair play to ND for trying something different, and it's uncharted so I'll definitely play it, but whether She-vis and Butthead here can carry it alone remains to be seen.
This looks and sounds amazing. A little worried that they seem to be pushing Chloe down the Mary Sue route, but that of course may be for the trailer's sake. Glad to see it retailing for just under £25, anything more for a less than full length adventure would be a bit of an insult. ND smashing it home yet again <3
Cool though shame they keep looping the same footage
Uncharted 4 is 'perhaps' the best looking game on Console! This looks exceptional too. Also think the use of HDR will elevate this - especially with the night-time scenes with the Neon lighting and Fires contrasted against the 'dark'.
What Naughty Dog achieve is nothing short of incredible. The facial animations, the attention to detail - on a technical level, its outstanding regardless of what people think of the story, the game-play etc.
I really can't wait for this and its my most anticipated PS4 exclusive this year. A must buy!
I trust Naughty Dog to flesh out both characters TBH. I'd be surprised if we came away from this game feeling the same about Chloe and Nadine.
They're both going to get a lot of screen time so we should learn a lot more about both.
I think this is actually a good pairing, I think individually, neither might be established enough to carry the game, but they can use each other to develop them as characters. Indeed, I think Nadie is a good choice since she was so under developed in UC4. Plus they already had all her character models to use!
@get2sammyb Chloe and Sully would have made a much better pairing up - and retained more congruence and integrity within the 'Uncharted World'.
I just finished Uncharted 2 (for the 3rd time) on the PS4 - for the first time - and noticed that Sully asks which direction Chloe went off in and then follows after her. This would have allowed a really neat 'in' to the story - plus the relationship could give us a lot of humorous flirty banter and put-downs between two strong leads.
This team up just doesn't cut it for me and I'll be giving it a miss. It's just two women in an 'Uncharted' world doing 'Uncharted' stuff in an 'Uncharted' way. For me that doesn't make it Uncharted - It's all a bit
Cruise / Reacher
If I'm honest, I was too busy looking at Meredith ❤️ the game looks good, I guess....
I honestly prefer the look of Chloe in Uncharted 2. She looks so different in this game. No mistaking Claudia Black's voice though.
Is this included in the $25 Season Pass? If so, its definitely a better deal compared to $40 physical edition.
