At this point, there’s always some kind of promotion running on the PlayStation Store in one territory or another, and Sony has just launched a new mid-year sale in North America which is packing some pretty big savings – especially if you’re a PlayStation Plus member.
There are genuinely some really good savings here: the excellent CounterSpy is $5.99, launch title Killzone: Shadow Fall is also $5.99, while Mad Max is $7.99. Elsewhere, PlayStation VR Worlds is $13.99, Ratchet & Clank is $7.99, and Roundabout is $1.99.
You can browse the full list of savings through here, but do let us know what you’re buying in the comments section below.

Hmm thinking of snagging Killzone and Mad Max, but also want to get the Necromancer for Diablo III today. Decisions, decisions.
God of War III is $3.99!
@get2sammyb Sadly I never played that series and I don't like starting series in the middle that I never played. I wish they would have brought out the first 2 on PS4.
Damn good sale. There's a lot of stuff I'm tempted to buy.
Great sale! Picked up a lot of stuff;
Journey
Rayman Legends
Ratchet & Clank
Resogun
The Final Station
Tearaway Unfolded
Good god, it's just constant sales.
Notta here. I wouldn't mind picking up Diablo 3 at some point but would like a better price than this.
@vegeta11 Actually that's not a bad price as you get the full game and the Necromancer pack together.
@Ralizah There's a sale every week.
I'm guessing ME:SoM GotY is worth $3.99?
Anybody remember about how long the main story was?
I'm afraid to buy TLoU:LBSA as that will all but guarantee TLoU2 gets pushed back to the PS5.
Ratchet & Clank
PSVR Worlds
Strike Vector Ex
Why not?
@Tasuki oh I didn't realize the necromancer pack was included in that...I may reconsider then. I was reading the sale on my phone.
@vegeta11 Yeah the eternal Collection contains everything currently to Diablo III now.
It's kinda like Sony is trying to make you spend that $500 you had put aside for a certain system-which-shall-not-be-named before November.
@rjejr
Even for a cheapskate like you that price is a steal. Thing is I am a sucker for sidequests so I made the majority of them before beating the game, at around 40 hours. Let's say it takes 15-20h if you just focus on the story. And I got the regular version so you get even more here.
I never tried Left Behind but tempted to do so. It won't affect release dates since it is discounted quite often. Compare to the laughable discount on GTAV, a game that always sells, even years later.
As for me, not getting anything here. According to an article on NL, Snake Pass should be 40% off but I did not see it here. I may double dip for the trophies.
Those prices for ratchet and gow3 are incredible. Wonder if we will get a top up in Europe tomorrow, although I expect we will have to wait for the big in Japan sale they usually have on the store at the beginning of july. In current sale I picked up hitman, firewatch, sleeping dogs and Canis Canem Edit so pretty happy with that. Irritated that I was struck with the infamous firewatch save bug yesterday on day 78 meaning I need to start again. Unacceptable really. Will make me question buying a game by campo Santo again, despite how much I am enjoying the game
@sinalefa Of course not that's an eShop sale not a PSN sale. That would be like me saying oh Disney Afternoon Collection is on sale on PSN this week so it must be on sale on XBL.
@sinalefa Thanks, for all of that. I think Snake Pass was on sale either the weekend sale or the flash sale on PS4, both of which seemed to run on top of each other over the weekend, I was surprised to see a new sale like this so soon, and this one lasts for 2 weeks.
I'll probably get SoM, was more wondering on the length, 4 or 5 hours I feel cheated, but I don't have the time for 100 to spend on the Witcher 3. 10-20 is perfect. I do wish so many games like this weren't rated M though. I'm no prude, but I'm planning on watching all 6 movies soon - 3 Hobbit, 3 LotR - w/ my sons who are 12 and 14, which seems a little young for rated M games. This game is based upon literary greatness, they couldn't figure out how to make it T for Teen and still be good? My 12 yr old is playing Sunset Overdrive censored, they bleep out the cursing and cut out the blood. I actually find all of the bleeping quite funny as you can still tell what hes' saying, makes my wife happy though.
Guess I'll get both it and TloU as I need to put $5 on my cc anyway, might as well pay $8 for both rather than $5 for 1 $4 game.
@Tasuki Well, the video linked in the NL article states that the game is on sale across the digital stores on all platforms.
@Tasuki
Video clearly says "Across All Platform Digital Stores", so I assume that includes PSN Store. Here is the link to the article

@rjejr
Regarding SOM, the game is pretty violent and the executions are over the top, there isn't much cursing but again, you stab orcs before beheading them. I agree in that the movies are not that violent.
@sinalefa Snake Pass is half-off on Steam, $9.99, if that helps you any. I have an i3 but it requires an i5 so I can't run it.

And dont' mind that other reply, it will be probably be on sale on PS4 sometime in the next few weeks, also a Humble next week.

@rjejr
Thanks. Again, I do have the game on Switch already, so I would be double dipping for trophies and for showing a bit more of support to them. But a sale is a win win!
Europe discounts coming soon? 😢 i mean bigger ones like these?
Now this is a great sale. Picked up Ratchet & Clank, LittleBigPlanet 3, Tearaway Unfolded, Knack, Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor. =)
Any suggestions on good deals for games here?
I'm almost scared to look, I'm so broke right now.
@Ebri
Not sure what you do or don't have, but if you're looking for good / decent games cheap, here's a list...
$3.99 Middle-Earth: Shadow of Mordor GOTY Edition
$3.99 God of War III
$7.99 Ratchet & Clank
$2.99 Strike Vector Ex
$5.99 Killzone Shadow Fall
$3.74 Resogun
$4.49 Dead Nation
$2.99 The Unfinished Swan
$7.49 The Wolf Among Us
$5.19 Super Stardust Ultra
$7.99 Driveclub Bikes
Journey - I can't see the price, but it's worth it...
Just a few selections depending on taste. Total of $56.84...before Journey. Less than, or on par with, a new AAA title.
$3.99 for Shadow of Mordor? Good deal!!!
Shadow of Mirror for 3.99? Good thing I picked it up at GameStop for $25 two days ago. Return imminent lol
I bought Risk of Rain - eyes are now bleeding, hands cramped 3 hours later.
Also, picked up the Last of Us DLC and Furi.
What is Vector Ex like? Is there still a big online community playing?
Oh boy I hope we get a comparable European sale. Not that I have a) the money or b) the time for more games.
@Rudy_Manchego this 3.99 for shadow of moeder.
Hope EU store will get one
Got most of these through a previous sale, but never picked up Shadwen so that could be a fun purchase. Although Crash Bandicoot is right around the corner....hmmm.
Remember folks, anything that's $3.99 or below will actually be $5 added to your PSN wallet.
sale is kinda boring.. : /
@rjejr Snake pass on i3 would def not a problem. Dunno why it would say i5. The jaguar CPU in the PS3 is less powerful than an i3, and lets not even mention the Switch's portable CPU...
@RedFinch Aww man.. I thought I got a good deal on it when it was about $8. I have so many games now from these damn sales that I won't be able to finish any of them. I feel like I am just collecting them now.
Omg Sony you're making me broke!! Between this and the flash sale and double plus sale this past weekend I must of bought 40 games without 1/2 a clue what to try first.....AND I LOVE IT!!!
Paying attention Nintendo?!?
@Party_Cannon Maybe that's why Snake Pass isn't on the PS3?
Anyway, here's what Steam said:
SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS
MINIMUM:
OS: Windows 8/10 (64-bit OS required)
Processor: Intel Core i5-750 2.68Ghz / AMD II x4 945 3.0Ghz or equivalent

Graphics: NVIDIA GTX 560 2GB/AMD Radeon 6870 HD 2GB or equivalent (Integrated graphics not supported)

Been going crazy on these sales lately - went back and picked up Shadow of the Beast and Gauntlet today.
