What a time to be alive! If the excellent Yakuza 0 and upcoming Yakuza Kiwami weren’t already enough, SEGA is bringing Yakuza 6: The Song of Life to the PlayStation 4 next year. And via IGN, here’s our first look at the English language version of the game.
It sure looks like Yakuza alright, but series veterans will notice a number of improvements made possible with the title’s new-gen engine: battles are entered in real-time, for example, and the city of Kamurocho has been given a face-lift.
The video focuses on some general exploration, and also delves into a mission involving an individual with a selfie-stick. It’s a Yakuza game through and through – and we can’t wait to see more of it in action as we near its 2018 release date.

Looking fantastic, loved Zero and I can't wait for this next year.
I agree with the above comment! Japan is dominating this year in my game library!
Can't wait. In the meantime, I'll enjoy the Yakuza 1 remake this summer.
I love the way the neons reflect on the street.
This is like the Anti Sonic: Sega just keeps releasing them, but unlike Sonic games they are always good.
yep. sure looks like yakuza.
@Gamer83 i really need to play zero
Zero was probably my favorite game this year! Is for sure the game I've invested more time this year with over 100 hours on it!
Can't wait for Kiwami and 6
@Sanquine
Definitely worth it if you like action-RPGs, fun brawling mechanics and a good story.
