Forthcoming fighter Marvel vs. Capcom: Infinite has had its price cut – before it even releases. Amazon’s knocked about 25 per cent off the pre-order price of Capcom’s upcoming crossover brawler, which could just be a promotion, but probably suggests that the publisher is desperate to invigorate interest in the title.

Assuming you can’t wait for the inevitable $15 version on Black Friday, then the game can be yours for $44.32 right now – down from $59.99. It’s unclear how long the offer will run for, but we suspect it may stay live for as long as the company thinks it needs it – which judging by the response to the demo could be a while.

Isn't the demo already out? I'm pretty sure I downloaded it, I tried to play it but there was some unskippable intro and I just thought no thanks, closed it up and deleted. The demo I believe is the story mode.
@Bad-MuthaAdebisi Yeah the demo is out, but not many people loved it.
Pre-order numbers must be down.
not surprised this game is hideous
It wasn't great was it. And not a patch on mvc3. The roster is predictable and boring and I just dont understand the art direction. They are horrible. Whats more, so far as I am concerned capcom have learnt nothing from either sfv release or subsequent games like injustice 2, guilty gear or tekken 7 concerning content
After dragonball fighter z, this game just looks bad, with fan fiction like story (compared to injustice series), bad graphics (compared to guilty gear xrd/dbfz/injustice), and no x-men characters.
"wait for the inevitable $15 version on Black Friday"
Well I was thinking $10 but I'll do $15 for a 2 month old game.
Oh, and I watched my kid play the demo twice the day after it released, once in the morning, once that afternoon, and it looked fine to me. Fine for a free-to-start game, but I think everything should be free-to-start w/ all the DLC these days, so what do I know.
Oh, and people should remember Amazon <> MSRP. Right now you can buy H:ZD on disc for $40 or as a digital download for $60.

My excitement at hearing it announced didn't last long. Haven't seen anything to convince me it's worth buying. And I think we all remember how Capcom messed up on Street Fighter 5, launching with no content. I expect them to do the same here.
The demo could have been better. I honestly do not care about story mode in fighting game. They should have just given us a training and Vs mode. I'm also worried about the character roster if that leak true, and it looks that way. Spencer and Firebrand? Those two had there shot in MVC3. And only 4 female characters?
I stoped and deleted the demo within five minutes. I just don't understand what they are doing : Marvel vs Capcom 3 is waaay more sexy in my opinion (especially on Vita). It's The same damn thing that happened with Street Fighter (I'm still playing the extraordinary version of Street 4 on my Ps4, I passed the 5 without a single regret)
My next fighting game will be Dragon Ball FighterZ. Sorry, Capcom. Learn a thing or two from the competitin, or get out of here.
Terrible roster, even worse art style
What a great sign...
Dear Capcom,
All I have to say is;
Chun-Li.
You ruined CHUN-FREAKING-LI.
