Sony’s first-party smartphone initiative is underway, with ForwardWorks’ adaptation of Everybody’s Golf out now in Japan on iOS and Android. The game’s free to download, but boasts in-app purchases. Unfortunately, you won’t be able to download it without a Japanese account – well, not on the iPhone anyway.
The game boasts simplistic controls designed for touch screens, and can be played with one hand. You’ll be able to create your own character and take them online, and you can even train your avatar to play the way that you prefer. Sadly, there’s no word on whether this will release in the West yet – it’s looking unlikely right now.

I hope we do see a western release, I'd definitely play this.
@Quintumply Same.
Congrats Sony for making games for a smart device that isnt unknown and expected to work because you slapped the brand on it so no one knew it existed until you said it was canned.
Welcome to 2010. Now, about your UI changes...
@BLP_Software Eh?
@get2sammyb You dont remember PlayStation Mobile? Ya know. That thing even you didnt know about until they gave it 6 months notice?
@BLP_Software You need to let things go lol.
No more, please! .... I'm still playing the Vita version, as well as waiting for the PS4 after being on the beta..
I'll have no time for anything else!
