Nidhogg 2, complete with its divisive new art style, is dashing onto PlayStation 4 next month. The sequel retains the original indie hit's focus on intense duels between two players, but throws a few new weapons into the mix as well as new arenas to fight in.
The game launches on the 15th August, but will you be challenging your friends to a swift and deadly duel? Don't throw your sword too early in the comments section below.

Nice, the first one is one of my friends and mine favorite game to play on multiplayer night!!
I LOVE the original, so I'll likely get the sequel. The art style has actually grown on me recently.
They changed the visuals and I really don't enjoy the new style
@AFCC It's a pretty drastic change. I think it looks better in motion, but I didn't like it either for a long time. I've only recently warmed to it. There's a lot of detail in the levels, and the characters aren't as bad as they used to be.
@Quintumply I don't know why they changed it so hardcore! The levels look good but damn do I hate the characters xD
The first is good, but I'll take Towerfall over it anyday!
@kyleforrester87 Towerfall is also very good!
@kyleforrester87 yup.
When are they going to make a Towerfall sequel??
@IanDavid They did do that DLC which was kinda cool. The developer is working on Skytorn with a few other people at the moment but that game was supposed to release ages ago and I've not heard anything about it in a while. So hopefully they are quietly making that awesome. Then maybe Towerfall 2? Lol
Edit: he's also doing this actually would like to play it when it comes out!
