Planning to play Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice on the PlayStation 4 Pro? You’ll have a couple of options to choose from. According to developer Ninja Theory, the game will support either an enhanced resolution on Sony’s supercharged system (no word on what that will be) or a higher framerate of 60 frames-per-second. It’s always nice when a game gives you the choice.
In other news, the Cambridge-based studio has released a new trailer for the game ahead of its 8th August launch. This really sets the scene on the title’s dark fantasy story, and is well worth a watch – it may even sell you on the game. Don’t worry if you need to see more before pre-ordering, though – you’ll find 10 minutes of gameplay through here.

It's so beautiful.
That trailer is absolutely sensational, really excited about playing this!
@SegaBlueSky I've watched it three times now!
@get2sammyb Haha, can't blame you. I keep wanting to re-watch it but at the same time I want to preserve the awe of actually playing it. Just love all the little inflections and subtleties in Senua's expressions and animations. But of course the general art direction and modelling of the monsters etc is just amazing. And that voiceover genuinely gives me chills, reminds me a lot of one from The Witch (no spoilers, but if you've watched that film you'll know the voice I mean).
Or you know, PC.
@Crimson_Ridley How is that relevant to people who want to play it on the PS4/PS4 Pro, though? Completely unrelated comment.
Not long now!
I'm not watching any trailers. I'm sold.
Hope it does well enough to warrant a physical release.
Looks so good. Also that sounded like Benedict Cumberbatch. I doubt it but whoever they were did a good impression.
@Crimson_Ridley I don't think that's important on here.
Is this what Barry White sounded like when he had a sore throat?
One of the great features of Nioh is I have this option even on the PS4 Slim.
I hate how her teeth always seem to be showing. Odd complaint i know haha
Can't wait! I'm excited for this one...it just looks so good. And I'm interested in experiencing a AAA Indie!!
Wanted heavenly sword 2 but this will make me happy. So excited!!
Nice! This is how all games should handle the Pro.
I love Ninja Theory.
And how is this not a full price game (not complaining!)
I think it's going to be short.
Jesus this looks incredible. I'm optimistic that it's worth the wait. Can't help but feel it's Horizon's darker sister.
At only $30 who wouldn't give this game a go? Looks great, won't be reading anything on this especially with launch just around the corner.
