WAYP, WAYP, WAYP. What more is there to say? Wimbledon is on and plodding along; there have been a few decent meltdowns so far – that guy tossing money at the umpire was great – but the second week is where things should heat up. Hopefully not literally, of course, because it’s already too hot. Video games. Talk about them.

I'll be jumping in an out of The Elder Scrolls Online this weekend. I stopped playing for quite a while due to reviews and other non-MMO games that needed to be finished off, but the Morrowind expansion has dragged me back to Tamriel. Good clean fun if you're feeling adventurous.

After absolutely ploughing through the Crash collection, and remembering how much I loved those games growing up, it's awoken a nostalgia bug in me, and I think starting now and carrying on for a while I'm going to break out my PS3 and play the God of War and Jak & Daxter collections, which I've been neglecting since before the PS4 had even released. Plus I just bought Elite: Dangerous. Dear me, where am I going to get the time?

I’m travelling this weekend which of course means that it’s the perfect time for my PlayStation Vita. I still have one character route left to complete on Code: Realize and once I’m done with that I’ll carry on with MeiQ. I’ve almost finished my hard playthrough, then I plan to complete the game on Devil and Hell difficulty.

I've got some people round this weekend, so That's You, Overcooked, and Surgeon Simulator are on the cards. Other than that, a bit of Battlefield 4 wouldn't go amiss, neither would some WWE 2K17.

This weekend I'll be having a crack at the Destiny raids in an attempt to complete them all one last time before jumping ship into Destiny 2. There's going to be plenty of good laughs and also plenty of arguments but hopefully the fire team won't fall apart.

So kind of a retro game weekend for me. After acquiring a copy of Castlevania Bloodlines on Genesis I will be playing that, along with some Disney Afternoon Collection on PS4. Also I will be still attempting to get good at Battlefield 1.
