God of War Concept Art Reveals Harsh Weather

Sony Santa Monica’s always been home to some of the best artists in the industry, and the team’s flexing its muscles once again with the new God of War. A batch of new concept art from the title shows protagonist Kratos and his son Atreus out and about in the Nordic wilderness – and in one image, on the verge being attacked by armoured grunts.

One point of interest here is Atreus himself: his snow hair and hardened features give him a tougher look than we’ve seen in trailers previously, and it’ll be interesting to see whether this was just an early design or if his in-game model will be tweaked to better match this look. Personally, we prefer the concept art version.
