Shapely sci-fi puzzle sequel QUBE 2 will correct its spelling in early 2018 on the PlayStation 4, Brit-based developer Toxic Games has announced. Terrible name, guys β is that the best you could come up with? Really?
The follow-up was originally due this summer, but is spending a little more time in shape school. Often compared to Portal β as most first-person puzzlers are, to be fair β it sounds like the studio really aims to expand the scope of the sequel.
"With QUBE 2 we want to give the player more story but we also want to give them more choice," chief Dan Da Rocha said. "We've developed the tools players can use to solve puzzles, subverting the linearity of the original in favour of something more open, something that allows players to put their own stamp on solutions."

I quite liked the demo of this I played at Rezzed. Shame it's delayed, but it's always best to take the extra time.
Keep meaning to play the original but never get around to it.
I thought the original is not bad, excellent puzzles..although its very bland looking - and the music can't be turned off (i really hate that) So i am only a little way through that one, hopefully the sequel addresses these issues. It sure looks nicer graphically.
Do we know if PSVR is still planned?
QUBE 1 was a fantastic quick puzzler! I can't wait to see what they do with the sequel!
