There’s new Hitman content on the way. IO Interactive has been through a turbulent time behind-the-scenes, breaking away from owner Square Enix just as its first season of assassination contracts were at peak popularity – but it seems like it’s got its proverbial in order, and is ready to reveal new content on 24th October.
The developer is clear, though: this isn’t Season Two just yet. “We’re saying that now to keep expectations in check,” it wrote on its website. Our guess? Some kind of bonus episode is in the works to reignite interest in the game. We’ll have to wait until the end of the month to find out for sure.

Sorry for being dumb but what's a "Pate'?
@Dodoo
pate
peɪt
noun archaic humorous
a person's head.
"he scratched his balding pate"
@get2sammyb Ah thanks. I never knew that. Thought you were talking about some edible paste made from liver! lol
I bloody love pâté.
Still haven't played the game but it seemed like it was fairly popular. Only reason I haven't taken a chance on it is because I'm concerned about the story. Not that I ever thought the Hitman series was great at that but I heard it's particularly lacking in this newest game.
I thought this series was dead. I'm so happy it's not.
Always learn a new word or two on here. Still need to get into Hitman again soon actually.
I haven't touched Hitman since I completed it but I'd love a new bonus episode, would try it when the 4K patch is released. Bet 47's bald head will look proper smooth and shiny in 4K HDR 🙄😂
