Raiden v directors cut has been moved to 27th October now
NONE, yeah i said it there are NO games coming this month i have any interest in
I've bought Dragon's Dogma which I'm sure I'll be playing for most of the month. I really want Wolfenstein 2, though, because The New Order was excellent. GT can wait until I get a new race wheel and I'll pick AC Origins up in a few months.
@FullbringIchigo At least you'll be saving some money.
Sorry Sony but this month is all about a certain 3D platform superstar's latest odyssey..
Welcome back, Bubsy.
Agreed with @roe. That's my only day 1 October game. But a few months down the line I will pick up The Evil Within 2, Wolfenstein 2 when it hits the Switch and GT Sport if the demo sells me on the game.
WWE2K18.
I regret nothing.
@get2sammyb not really i just brought a load of DVD's instead ^_^
Not a big FPS fan, but I really enjoyed the previous Wolfenstein...a fun story. So I'll be picking that up at some point. And I'm interested in Dogma...I've heard good things. But my must have this month is South Park. I loved the first one!
I have 4 games this month incoming. I already have Forza 7 and next week, I will have the Evil Within 2 as well. Later in the month, I have Wolfenstein 2 and Assassin's Creed: Origins all in preparation for November 7th. As far as 'games' go, October is going to be my 'busiest' month for new arrivals.
I have a couple of games coming in November as well as H:ZD DLC so all of this will see me through December (although I believe Destiny 2 will have its first DLC drop in Dec) and well into the new year. I can't think of any game I want releasing in the first couple of months. If I do get bored, there are a few games I will have to miss out on that I may pick up at a later date - Project Cars 2, NFS: Payback, Lego Marvel Superheroes 2 (a guilty pleasure) to name a few...
evil within .one of the best games ever
Just South Park for me!
@FullbringIchigo same for me tbh. It might be the start of the "big-bangers", but there is not a single game I'm looking forward to.
I'm still having a blast with Mario+Rabbids. Then Mario Odyssey. And then Breath of the Wild DLC 2.
Sorry PS4... I'll see you again next year.
EDIT: Oh wait... Somehow I need to fit in Horizon Frozen Wilds into this year as well.
I want South Park, Gran Turismo, and Assassin's Creed. I'm very interested in The Evil Within as well, but it's a Bethesda game and it's a certain flop so I'll be waiting for a £10 copy in the sales.
This is a pretty solid month. As much as I'd love to play Dragons Dogma again, I have to focus on games I haven't played yet. It's possible that I'll get GT Sport maybe down the road (no pun intended), probably eventually will play Shadow of War and this second Telltale Batman series when it's complete. Also I'm slightly interested in the Chaos;___ VN's maybe someday. But the release most likely to actually be bought soon is Assassins Creed Origins, but even that will have to wait a bit.
Only things for me this month will be Guardians of the Galaxy episode 4 on Tuesday and then getting South Park gold edition from my wife. Otherwise I'm on gaming lockdown for the holidays.
@FullbringIchigo Same here. No PS4 games coming out this month that I'll be buying. It's just gonna be Mario Odyssey and maybe a 2DS with 1 or 2 games.
I'm gonna skip Assasssin's Creed because I want to indulge myself in Super Mario Odyssey. I wish I finished the first Evil Within. I got enough games most this stuff can wait, though Gran Turismo looks tempting.
Is Raiders of the Broken Planet supposed to be on this list?, or was that a late September game?
Mario and Wolfenstein for me. Both are inferior to Bubsy though.
I'm looking forward to playing these October 2017 titles eventually.
Dragon's Dogma: Dark Arisen - Wait for $20-$25 Price Drop
Middle-Earth: Shadow of War - Wait for GOTY/Complete Edition
The Evil Within 2 - Wait for $20-$25 Price Drop
South Park: The Fractured But Whole - Wait for $20-$25 Price Drop
Assassin's Creed Origins - Wait for $20-$25 Price Drop
If Bubsy doesn't take the top spot for October sales, you really have to wonder if we'll ever get another in the series..
Yeah, Wolfenstein of course. When the trailer showed you can ride a panzerhund, I knew it would be great. Anybody who claims otherwise does probably not have a human soul.
...Bubsy ...thats it the month of October is tainted.
@get2sammyb evil within a certain flop? Why do you think that? The first was a reasonable succes for a game in this genre I thought?
Tempted to picked up Dragon's Dogma and Assassins Creed but need to finish ether Pillars of Eternity or Torment first
@Flurpsel Most Bethesda games seem to be reduced in price really quickly after launch. Even Fallout 4 was down to half price in the UK within a month of release.
This list is daunting....
Dragon's Dogma
Layton's Mystery Journey: Katrielle and the Millionaires' Conspiracy
Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga + Bowser's Minions
Middle Earth: Shadow of War Gold Edition
Etrian Oddysey V
Axiom Verge Multiverse Edition
South Park 2: The Fractured But Whole
Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus
Fire Emblem Warriors
Velocity 2x Critical Mass Edition
Assassins Creed Origins Deluxe Edition
Super Mario Odyssey
I would have bought the new wolfenstein game but after the bs they have pulled with the marketing campaing I will not be supporting the company.
@FullbringIchigo - same, nothing for me. except for the horizon zero dawn dlc, there's nothing on my wishlist until next year. the battlefront beta killed any hope of buying that..
Wolfenstein 2 collectors edition, loved the first one. Plus i get a GI Joe of BJ!! I want GT Sport and to try South Park 2 with South Park 1 free.
I'm being a bit more conservative with my purchases at the moment. There's no point in buying anything until I get my backlog down a bit. I'm still playing through last year's games!
That said I'll probably ask for Assassin's Creed Origins for Christmas. I'm really fascinated by ancient Egypt and am looking forward to seeing Ubisoft's spin on it. Wolfenstein 2 looks ace but like most Bethesda games will probably be a tenner by the spring.
My most anticipated game overall is Super Mario Odyssey. All I need is a Switch to play it on!
@dryrain Damn,i missed that - just googled W2 news..
Stupid Don Trump is a nazi nonsense.Okay Machine Games/Bethesda,i will buy a second hand W2 disc later then (maybe) Wolfenstein 2 is going to tank thanks to the idiotic PR political pandering.I am embarrassed for them.
Gran turismo sport ps4 plus mario odyssey for me this month
This month, I feel like embarking on an Odyssey... 😉
The evil within2 looks so goid. I just hope the controls are better than the 1st game. I found movement to be very clunky and annoying
None for me finishing off a back log for plats Skyrim, Lego Marvel Avengers, Tomb Raider 2, Game of Thrones to name some. Then I'll be starting The Witcher 3 and after Metal Gear 5 so I'm pinned for length next few months lol. I'm only interested in Last of Us 2 so I have plenty of time taken before it comes cause I still have Dragon Age Inquisition to even finish.
Might get Wolfenstein, good chance that will be excellent. Got Crash Bandicoot and latest Uncharted to trade in against the price.
@JoeBlogs I sunk so many hours into the Road Rash series. It was the first game I can think of where the AI seemed to have a brain and hold grudges against you , a few years back I tried it on an emulator and quickly switched it off.
It Was amazing at the time but like 95% of retro gaming is best left alone.
Obviously Bubsy is going to be a big seller.
Just Wolfenstein for me maybe south park a bit later and I have barely played the original evil within yet so the sequel can wait
