How many times does the press need to tell you the latest game is the best you’ve ever played? Even as reviewers, we appreciate you’ve probably got the memo by now. It’s so refreshing to see Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice take a different direction for its accolades trailer, then. This clip is filled with quotes pooled from letters and emails that Ninja Theory has received, and it’s set to screenshots taken from within the game – it’s pretty powerful stuff.
More importantly, the Cambridge-based developer will be donating all of the proceeds it makes from sales of the game today (10th October) to UK mental health charity Rethink. This is all timed to coincide with World Mental Health Day, which you can learn more about through the link. If you’ve got some spare cash, maybe consider picking up Hellblade tomorrow – it’s a brilliantly thought-provoking experience, and it’ll be for a good cause.

Buy this game!
Too bad I already got it, in fact I finished it a few days ago. Highly recommended though.
Very moving. I've just started it and have been very impressed. I can't believe Edge gave it 4/10!
amazing
Thumb up for ninja theory
That was very moving. It makes me want to go buy it right now and support Ninja Theory. I've been interested in this game for years and still haven't even bought it yet, and I'm not sure why. Now,... I'll be able to play it if only I could just pull myself away from Destiny 2 and Shadow of War.
Just buy this, nothing more to be said
Waiting for a sale but I do want to play this game eventually. Heavenly Sword is one of my favorite action games and while you can argue its merits as a 'Devil May Cry' entry, Ninja Theory's take on DmC was actually very fun.
Thought provoking experience - I'd recommend it as an experience as opposed to the game and its gameplay. However, very glad I bought it and I thought Ninja Theory did a marvellous job throughout.
I'm just going to buy it because I feel like doing a good deed, but I also don't like doing good deeds without getting something in return because I'm a scoundrel.
@johncalmc Youre the cream of the crop
@get2sammyb I did buy it, pity I can't play it due to the infamous NY gate bug that repeatedly prevents me from progressing because the damn gate won't open after solving the puzzle.
I'd buy it but, I bought it on launch. I hope they make loads of sales today!
This has been high on my wishlist since release and this made me finally cave in and get it. Fair play to the devs
@rjejr Please stay on topic. You could have Tweeted that or posted it in the forum. It has no place in this thread — even if it is an old one.
