A colossal improvement
Hey, Bluepoint Games really knows what it's doing. Sony showed off Shadow of the Colossus at its Paris Games Week press conference -- the studio's latest porting project -- and it looks fantastic on PlayStation 4. You can get a good eyeful of this remade classic in the gameplay trailer we've embedded above.
We'll admit, we did get some goosebumps watching this one.

Hat off to Bluepoint games. I was impressed with the Gravity Rush and Uncharted remasters, but this looks even better!
this coupled with the other trailer that was shown looks really impressive.. visually it's as good as the last guardian to my eyes. it's in a totally different league from the PS3 remaster.. looks like only the game template has remained and everything else has been remade. i only got as far as the 8th colussus on PS3, so it's good to hear bluepoint have revamped the controls as well.. sony should be giving these guys free reign on what else to remake from the PS back-catalogue.
Bluepoint look to be doing it right, not messing with the artstyle but enough so it looks more rich in detail and that music.
I've had money set aside for this since the day they announced it.

That was kind of a weird trailer. I expected something to happen. Game looks great, though. I'm interested.

It's worth buying again purely for the soundtrack. One of my favourite game OSTs ever.

@AFCC Nope, the game is launching at $59.99 according to Amazon and several other websites.
I'll be waiting for the 50% price drop in a year or two like always.

At $40 I'm still unsure to buy this digitally or buy the special edition steelcase + artbook (if the game has it).

$60 is expensive for a ps2 remake, but I have no problem buying the game at $40.
One of my fav games of all time! This looks too good. Gonna have to triple dip..... Dammit lol
@wiiware I'll probably still wait for a $20 sale in a few years regardless, don't have the funds to be buying $40-$60 games.

@wiiware Yeah gotta love flash sales, though I usually ignore the cheaper digital prices if there's a physical version available.
I'd rather pay more for the disc + case + manual, yes I know I'm old school and nuts XD.
@wiiware @ToddlerNaruto nice price! This is a game to consider...one of the few that's worth buying twice! I just didn't want to spend 60 euros cause I've so many games on my backlog....
