PGW 2017: Spider-Man's Latest PS4 Trailer Swings into View

I can not wait for this game. Between this, Detroit and god of war... next year is going to be insane.

Release date???

Not too sure about this one yet. I haven't been very impressed by most of the newer Spider-man games. Web of Shadows was okay, Spider-man 2 and Ultimate Spider-man were good, but that's about it.

I have this on pre-order and its been pre-ordered for months. I was hoping to see a more definite release date for this...

gameplay looks awesome, Peter Parker looks a right chump. Maybe this is to keep you focused on Spidey

Just watched the trailer in 4k and it looks good. Can't say the faces look as good as some games though. Still not convinced by Spideys costume and it seems its received more 'downgrades' than the first 4k video I saw. Its also looking a lot more 'shiny' too...

I know its minor nit picking as I am still going to buy....

@BAMozzy The faces do look a little derpy, but I can handle pretty much anything after Mass Effect Andromeda, lol.

They didn't really show much that wasn't a QTE I feel. Very unimpressive looking imo.

It looks incredible, probably a GOTY contender.

I want the game but trailer didnt do much for me. Wonder if we are getting a release date early next year.

Still looks pretty nice to me.

Looks great! I like that they’re going with a main villain that I don’t know much about.

Oh no! Not black and white suit man! /sarcasm. I'm referring to the superpowered business suit guys. I'm not really a fan of them. The rest of the game looks great! But those guys... they're kind of generic in my opinion.

Does it look to anyone else that you can play as MJ at certain points?

@BAMozzy Yeah, I noticed that too. Seems the animation has a plastic look and feel. I watched LoU2, GoW, and Detroit BH trailers immediately before this and the visuals here seem to be a step down from the others, further down the uncanny valley. Not that graphics are everything, but it can be distracting. The game is likely to have a huge intricate open world, so perhaps that explains why. Red Dead Redemption had some of the ugliest animated faces and I loved that game. But I gotta say, the other trailers did more to excite me, even though this was my No. 1 anticipated game going in. We’ll see.

Right now this is my favorite upcoming sony exclusive with god of war a close second

I'm thinking we're about a year away from playing this one, but I can't wait.
