Supermassive Games’ party-based crime drama Hidden Agenda has been pushed back until 22nd November in Europe, as has trivia title Knowledge Is Power and karaoke sim SingStar Celebration. The delay appears to be down to localisation issues, but it’s come extremely close to release – all three titles were due out next week.
In fact, that’s very much still the case in North America, where Hidden Agenda at least will drop on 24th October. We’re still trying to get confirmation for the other two, but it doesn’t look like there’s been a change. Were you looking forward to sniffing out a serial killer? I have a question unrelated to the delay.
Can you just play the Hidden Agenda on on your own like a normal person or do you have to prat about with friends and mobile phones?
@johncalmc I think you can play it solo but it's completely missing the point.
@get2sammyb Is it not just a story game like Until Dawn? I imagined the phone stuff was akin to the crowd play stuff Telltale does.
@johncalmc It is but... The whole 'Hidden Agenda' aspect plays a role in the gameplay. For example, you might be secretly tasked with steering the story in a certain direction, and it'd be down to me to suss you out.
I don't think you'd get anywhere near as much out of it playing solo.
Might be a dumb question, but EU region, does that also affect the UK edition? I've been planning to have hidden agenda for my holloween party since until dawn was such a blast.
@get2sammyb I wouldn't get anything out of it if I had to play it with other people because I just wouldn't play it. I Googled it before and didn't quite understand the concept but what you said makes sense. I assume without the hidden agenda bit then you just play a story which is totally fine by me.
@tameshiyaku Unfortunately, yes.
Boooo, seems like this has been happening a lot to the UK lately. Not cool.
Might be balanced by the fact you usually get better PSN sales than we in the States do?
Can't wait for Hidden Agenda. it's a rarity for me: a day one buy!
I want to see this game done well and to do well. Pushing the date to a month after Mario/Wolfenstein/AC drop on 27/10, should help with the latter.
