The editors of this very site are at war this weekend, and no, it's not because Sammy still hasn't played Persona 5. It's Liverpool vs. Manchester United, which means that bragging rights will be on the line for months to come. If you're reading this before the match, offer prayer. If you're reading afterwards, hope that the editorial team are still friends.

When I'm not ageing several years watching Liverpool play United, I'll likely be giving Battle Chasers: Nightwar a good going over. Then again, if Liverpool lose, you'll probably find me on FIFA 18 attempting to enter my happy place where the reds are top of the league.

This weekend, I’ll be consigning my mind to the gutter as I break the seal on South Park: The Fractured But Whole. I’ll also be doing plenty of raiding. Not in Destiny 2 I’m afraid, but in Raid: World War 2 as I work on our review.

I’ve been through hell in the last four weeks with a faulty 2-month old TV (and some of the worst customer service I’ve ever encountered from a certain popular high street retailer). But I had a new TV delivered this morning, so on the agenda this weekend is FIFA 18 and Uncharted: The Lost Legacy. I have some catching up to do.

Mainly it'll be a mix of PES 2018 and Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag for me this weekend - I'll be parking busses in one and docking boats in the other.

I’ve still yet to make significant progress in Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain, so that’ll be my main priority this weekend. I may also spend a bit more time milling about in Everything, because who doesn’t want to turn a planet into a toaster and soar majestically through the cosmos?

This weekend will be a busy one for me gaming wise. With the likes of Sid Meier's Pirates on Xbox, as well as MLB The Show 17 and Overwatch on the PS4. So many games so little time.
That's enough from us - it's time to hear from you. What do you plan on playing this weekend? Pick up a controller in the comments section below.

Evil Within: Silent Hill edition for me.
Kinda excited about South Park too, I've been ignoring it a bit so that's crept up on me.
Trying to finish up Dragon's Dogma: Dark Arisen before South Park comes out. Will also play a bit of WWE 2K18 and Destiny 2.
Just a bit of light BDSM for me this weekend as I carry on dominating my way through Mordor in Shadow of War. If I can find the time I might carry on chasing the plat in Dragon's Dogma as well.
I'll be grinding in Dragon's Dogma.
I thought I was ready for Bitterblack Isle, but i was sorely mistaken.
Hopefully watching the Manc's get a good thrashing before finishing the last chapter of Wolfenstein the Old Blood.
Then my time is split between Mario Galaxy 2 and a replay of Evil Within in anticipation of buying the 2nd game.
Star wars battlefront.
The 2004 original, on the Xbox.
As well as Colin McRae Rally 04-2005 and Bloodrayne 2.
All on my original 2002 Xbox.
Gran turismo demo on ps4 and cuphead on steam.
I'm not into gran turismo since I'm more ridge racer kind of guy in the ps1 and ps2 era, but man gran turismo sport demo is fun. I thought gts is online focused racer but there's a lot of single player stuff in the game, I'm hooked after winning in the dragon trail track using mazda (with medium tire). I think I'll preorder this if the reviews is good. Like I said before, the level-up system in the game is fun, I'm getting experience points everywhere like in the rpg game
Cuphead is really really good, it's hard but it's not like dark soul where the game is hard because the difficulty is out of whack and you can get killed by one hit or the save points is as far as possible, it's hard like classic nes/megadrive games like contra and gunstar heroes. You can get better by analyzing the enemy pattern, the save points is generous, and you rarely replay more than 5-10 minutes of gameplay. I really recommend this game, I think if this game is real exclusive, it will be one of the game that justify buying xbox one.
Probably dipping into Destiny 2. I am saving a few 'new' games (like Forza, Evil Within 2 - as well as Wolfenstein 2 and AC: Origins when they arrive) until November 7th so in the meantime, playing Destiny and some 'old' games that won't be enhanced. Nov 7th and after is going to be busy with a lot of choices - Also H:ZD - The Frozen Wilds is out and really looking forward to that too.
It will depend on todays result, whether I am looking to celebrate or get rid of my frustrations - something that has happened to frequently this season after 'dominating' virtually every match (at least whilst we had 11 on the pitch) but failing to convert chances so that may also determine which game(s) I play...
@KratosMD Whey!
Worrying I've done the areas in the wrong order, Dark Souls II.
pokemon gold, yakuza zero (and kiwami) and homework
0-0 at halftime 😴 think I’ll start the evil within after the game 👍🏻
I've just hit level 70 in Dragon's Dogma (and my sorcerer pawn, Nymeria). Now to make the decision of either spamming the Everfall, starting a new game+ in hard mode or hitting Bitterblack Isle. I love this game but really dislike the souls series. Strange that.
Same as last week. I stayed up until 2.30am last night playing Danganronpa V3 because I was in the midst of a class trial and finished chapter one. Not many games are able to keep me up that late these days, so that is surely a mark of a great game. It's quite gripping.
I'm about halfway through Dishonored 2, I think. I was initially playing it with no kills, but at the end of the previous chapter it said I killed someone. I was quite confused as I was being very careful. Anyhoo, not wanting to redo the whole mission I'm now playing it with Corvo as a brutal killer - which is much more fun, to be honest.
PS4: South Park The Stick of Truth
PSVita: Final Fantasy 3
Can't wait till Tuesday to get my South Park fix so I've started up The Stick of Truth.
Doing the platinum run, so I'll be spending my weekend going through notes as I try to collect everything in one go.
On vita I'm approaching the end of FF3. Barring another difficulty spike I should have the game done this weekend.
@Splat just started Dragons dogma, im not far enough into it to have an opinion, just selected my class
Nioh, just got to Maria in first dlc...died 436 times so far. She's kinda hard. Anyone have any tips on beating her?....
I'll be doing some iron banner in Destiny 2, hopefully will get the season rewards by the end of the weekend! Also will be doing some weapon quests and might attempt the Nightfall again, got so close last night in the guided game... Well that is if I'm aloud on the TV as it's just Peppa Pig all day atm...
When I can find the time, Majora's Mask 3D. I've never played the original before, so I'm experiencing the game for the first time. I've just completed the second dungeon, and if it keeps up this quality, it may be my favourite Zelda game, it's just so good!
Football will drain most of my spare time this weekend because of Juve(2nd)-Lazio(4th) this evening, Roma(5th)-Napoli(1st) tonight and Inter(3rd)-Milan(6th) tomorrow!
Splattin' some squid kids in Splatoon 2.
Some time with Splatoon 2, I hate Splatfests but it is the only way to get those snails. Want to spend some time with Overwatch too.
And I got my SNES Mini yesterday so I will probably try it. Nintendo Life finally put this feature back and I love it.
Just Started Lego City Undercover yesterday and I'm loving it!Just hope I don't have the same thing happen as it did on Lego Harry Potter...save corruption.
Will also be playing Mario And Rabbids,Golf Story and Piczel Lines Dx for the Switch.
Ps vr will also get a look in
WWE 2K18 for me ! ✌🏽
Beat Evil Within 2 yesterday morning (received four days early from Best Buy) after a twelve hours session. Loved it. But now just waiting for South Park to hopefully come early.
I finished Until Dawn last night despite my poor track record of horror games, but this really gripped me. My ending wasn't the best as I only managed to save Matt, Chris and Sam but I am quite tempted to replay a couple of the episodes to see a different outcome or could just spoil it for myself and watch them all on YouTube.
Also picked up DragonQuest Builders this week so will probably start that at some point.
Not much this weekend, probably continuing Infamous Second Son which I am enjoying more than I thought I would.
Yakuza Kiwami and The Evil Within 2
6-PAK, sonic and knuckles on sega genesis
Senran kagura shinovi versus on the vita
And maybe something on the ps3
Also I'm waiting for a ps4 controller and a few famicom games in the mail.
Metal Gear Solid V myself. Still trying to get to grips with it, but it's really good.
Aside from that, I think I'll finally finish Kingdom Hearts 1 as well.
Not Fifa, that's for sure.
Still playing Tales of Hearts R on psvita.
Still playing Final Fantasy IX. I'm really interested on South Park, just waiting for some reviews of sites that I really trust, but the game will probably be amazing.
Getting in some fighting games. Tekken 7, Marvel vs Capcom Infinite, and Street Fighter V. Playing Senran Kagura Peach Beach, Uncharted, and Yakuza Kiwami.
Destiny 2, FIFA 18, Middle Earth: Shadow of War & Forza Motosport 7.
Final score 0-0? Well, at least the Push Square editorial staff can be kept in peace ... for now.
Anyways, I’m playing Persona 5 and Danganronpa 2 still. Both games are quite long but so awesome that I just have to keep going back and forth — Play Danganronpa until the Vita battery is spent, then switch to Persona until the DS4 battery is spent, then go back to the now charged Vita again, and so on ....
If I get sick of reading a lot of text and trying to differentiate long Japanese character names, then I might pop in Horizon Zero Dawn or Jak & Daxter. We’ll see.
Well the broken record continues trying to get call call in Injustice 2 and getting near the end of Yooka-Laylee which other than the annoying voice noises has been a lot of fun.
I plan on replaying Vampire - The Masquerade: Bloodlines. I love how replayable the game is, and it's an absolute shame how there are basically no games like it. Developers need to bring that style of RPG back, because it's incredible.
Other than that, I'll probably play some Splatoon 2 and Stardew Valley.
I'm playing evil within 2,battlechasers nightwar and middle earth shadow of war with some destiny 2 raiding thrown in for good measure
I'll be playing fetch with meh dogger! He makes me fetch the ball too by kicking it with his feeties... He thinks he's so smart!
Inbetween rebuilding my mountain bike and photographing autumn scenes. I'll be running around like a headless chicken in Dragon's Dogma and tackling the mob in Yakuza Kiwami.
Uncharted 3 Drake's Deception on PS4
Mad Max , Dishonored and Metal Gear Solid 5 Phantom Pain , just not on the weekend though.
On PS4 I've been playing the same things since March: Yakuza 0, Persona 5 and Nier:Automata
PS4: Lords of the Fallen (very good Souls clone).
PS1: Silent Hill (first playthrough; may finish playing, may not).
N64: Ocarina of Time (first playthrough since I quit halfway through 18 years ago or so; good game). With my middle daughter.
Wii U: Yoshi's Wooly World (almost done). With my youngest daughter.
Since were no longer allowed to play the GT Sport demo, I decided to finally buy Oddworld New n Tasty. They did an amazing job on this one. Never had a platformer that can keep making me laugh at my fails while I'm getting frustrated at my restarts from being too impatient. Even better is to learn that they are working on Soulstorm!
shadow of war
Red Dead Rendemption: XB One S
Final Fantasy VII: PS4
Not much. Just waiting for my Switch delivery!
@wiiware Is the demo on the North American store? I can't find it.
@Bluetrain7 Yes but it's too late, the demo already expired, it's only a running demo if you download it now. It's great to showcase 4k hdr panel though
It's better to google games followed by psn (like "gran turismo sport psn") rather than searching on the psn itself.
Edit: you can't download it now, it's already gone in the psn.
