You know what they say: an Assassin’s Creed Origins trailer a day will keep the doctor away. It’s right about that time in the year when Ubisoft begins bombarding our inbox with press releases, video clips, and… Well, more press releases and video clips. This new trailer doesn’t really reveal a whole lot new, but hey – the game’s still looking pretty rad, even if we had some hesitations during a recent hands on.

I have been watching some JackFrags videos of assassins Creed and they seem decent. I don't think it's going to blow people away but I have a feeling it's going to be a lot better than Unity or Syndicate

@get2sammyb Not sure if this is the place to ask this, but is there an over-arching story that I need to know about from the previous games in order to play this one? (other than the obvious Assassins vs. Templars theme) I mean, I played AC 1-3 and some of 4, and then gave up on the series and didn't touch Rogue, Unity, Syndicate, Chronicles ... or any of the others. So I'm just making sure that there is no ongoing present day "Desmond-like" story that this entry is continuing that was started on an earlier game. If so, I'm less likely to play it. If there is no barrier to entry, then I'm interested.

@Th3solution I'm not the best source but i believe this game will be a prequel for the entire series, characters like Desmond will not be on the game. You can play it without playing another games, i guess.

I also never played Rogue, Unity and Chronicles.

Gonna see how the review pans out first, there is so much games this October that I need to see how some of these games improve or fix the problem on their predecessors first.
