Remember when demo discs were a thing? There was a time many, many years ago when purchasing Official PlayStation Magazine felt like buying a new game, purely because you got a couple of demos to try. They were happier days. Anyway.
Sony’s updated the demo disc that comes with all new PlayStation VR bundles, but you can download the new sampler for free from the PlayStation Store if you want. It looks like it’ll be well worth the bandwidth, too: unreleased titles available as part of the teaser include Moss, Star Child, and The Persistence.
Other demos include Battlezone, EVE: Valkyrie, Thumper, Tiny Trax, and more. The demo disc weighs in at 16GB so is pretty large, but do let us know if you’ve tried any of the titles out in the comments section below.

Thanks for this, Sammy. I was wondering what was happening with The Persistence, so I’ll get to downloading later 👍
I remember the demo disc days. I remember getting a demo disc from PC Gamer mag. and playing lvl 1 of Quake over and over again. As for the VR demos, it's a great idea. Now only if I could rent a VR and see if it's worth it for me and my family.
Aww wicked. I loves me some demo discs. Once I get rid of this head cold and sinus blockage, I am going to give this a right old go.
Fair play. Well done Sony. Will grab this today
Does it bring a free VR headset?
Is there any news on when version 2 of the headset is releasing in the UK? Will probably check out the demos when I get VR hopefully before Christmas.
Yes! So that's where the Moss demo was hiding. I could not find it on the PSN Store under the game page. Excited to try Star Child and Tiny Trax too.
