You won’t have to pay a penny to play online multiplayer on the PlayStation 4 from 10AM GMT on 15th November through 10AM GMT on 20th November in Europe. Sony has announced a new open event, which will remove the restrictions on PlayStation Plus subscriptions for the full five day period outlined above.
You won’t have to do anything to take advantage of the promotion: just pick your favourite game and play. It’s worth noting that you won’t get access to the Instant Game Collection or anything like that – this offer merely allows you to play multiplayer without an active membership.
We’ll chase up with Sony to see if the offer will apply to players in North America, too. In the meantime, let us know if there’s anything you’ll be trying as part of the free period in the comments section below.

I'll check it out.. if I can find any multiplayer games in my collection
Will i be able to play FFXV comrades then?
Love all the trials they are running to see what will resonate the best with the US Trophy cashback system also. I wonder what will make the final cut?
Nice!
not bad if you don't have it already that is
personally i think they should do more things like this, that way more people might be willing to pay for it to not only keep playing online but for the extra stuff too
I stopped paying for Plus as soon as online multiplayer was tied to it. I can still play just for the price of the game on PC and really can't see how the charge is justified. It's a drop in the ocean to Sony, but they've lost my money from the plus subscription as well as from any games that are heavily tied to online multiplayer.
I haven't updated by sub yet but this is a nice surprise.
FREE is the Magic Number...er erm
Good incentive.
If it gets more people playing that will drive up sales across the board.
Then maybe plus will go back to last gens variant?
Since its in europe does this means it will happen in india as well?
hope they give older member 5 days added to membership
