The free selection of PlayStation Plus games may have leaked for November 2017. While platform holder Sony has yet to confirm the lineup, an image published by PlayStation Germany seems to suggest that the headliners on the PlayStation 4 this time will be balletic platformer Bound and madcap multiplayer title Worms: Battlegrounds.
While we’re sure this selection will come in for heavy criticism, it’s perhaps worth remembering that the free games have been particularly good for four or five months now. It’s also unconfirmed at the time of typing, so we’ll of course bring you all of the official information the second that it breaks. In the meantime, get your pitchforks ready.

Bound isn't bad, but it's a shame the Worms game isn't the latest one. Still, this is only a rumour right now, so I won't get too worried about it.
Bound is particularly good if you've got PlayStation VR. I'd definitely recommend checking it out in virtual reality if you can — it looks absolutely ridiculous.
Could not care less i get my value out of it easy €60 is a steal.
Lol @get2sammyb. On an unrelated note, is there going to be a PushSquare review of the new SpinTires game?
@Turismo4GT Possibly, yes.
I got bound in a recent sale for 4 pounds, although not tried yet. If true, along with worms, I can see Sony getting a lot of flack. Alot of people dont look at the potential quality of titles on offer, but at the retail value. They will also point to Sony saying just this week at how they are looking to increase value of the ps plus service for users. Will be interesting to see what gets announced.
On a side note, I still find it funny on the blog that the same people complaining about how poor plus selections are in months where the games are not so called triple A (which they neither own or have played); are delighted in months where the games are AAA, but they already own them all, because they have assigned some strange financial value to define quality.
If that's true then they've dropped the ball there. I'd argue that a large part of the venom toward certain titles isn't due to perceived financial value, but game type. We've had a horror game, MGS, a sandbox superhero game, and they've all been very well received.
This is a platform game about ballet. I'm sure that most gamers won't be putting down Destiny or Wolfenstein in order to play that.
Sony need to understand that just because a game tries something different doesn't necessarily mean people want to play it.
Isn't the world game in this week's sale too?
nothing to stop me playing wolfenstein and gt6
I'll put Worms to use, but don't really like Bound. If this rumor is true that is.
"While platform holder Sony has yet to confirm the lineup"
Sony always seems to be late with PS+ news. It's November 1st and we know nothing of November's PS+ games
andrew house said goodbye when ps+ was on top month
and that`s why sony made him left PS lol
i think i would play bound ,sounds like a good game
Hahaha. Didnt sony say few days ago that they are looking into ways to make Ps Plus better? This is so pathetic.
Rabblerabblerabblerabblerabblerabble!
I admit I would find this a disappointing line-up for November if confirmed. Whilst the past few months have been much better of late, its also worth remembering that its come at an extra cost to PS+ subscriptions too - making it more expensive than Gold. Considering its a 'blackmail' charge to play the full content of games you have bought - sweetened a bit by 'free games' and Discounts in store, you hope that the increased price is reflected in the quality of the offerings in return from Sony
Oh boy get ready for the whinning kids
I am excited for worms! Worms was a big part of 1 year of my school where me and my friends would use every recess to play it...so yeah I can't wait to play with my friends a new worms game
@BAMozzy
Aren't they both now 59.99.
After so many great games this is a disappointment and certainly not worth the extra money Sony are charging us.
@iARDAs I wouldn't have commented if Sony hadn't just stated that. Guessing this is just a rumour. If not, I cant see how this makes people want PS Plus more haha
@Hapuc Bound is £16 (I believe) so probably $20 - Indie pricing and Worms: Battlegrounds is £20 (so probably $25) but can be bought physically for £16 from Amazon (probably cheaper if you shopped around). Either way, they are nowhere near full price AAA games in pricing - if that matters
Bound is at 71% on metacritic and Worms at 61% - if that means anything. It may indicate part of the reason for disappointment - more so than the 'value'.
Its not always about the 'value' of the offerings but the quality plays a part too. I am sure MGSv can be bought for £16 too (Physically at Amazon) but its cost was immaterial compared to the 'quality' - 93% on Metacritic.
Value is just part of the equation, quality also plays a factor. PS+ could give two AAA games (originally $59.99) but with 40% metacritic scores, people would still be 'disappointed'.
@JoeBlogs I'm paid up until April 2019 myself. I took advantage of a deal before the prices rose but its not the point. Sony have raised the price by £10 making it the most expensive subscription. It looked like it was 'paying' off with the 'quality' of games we had received since that price rise and that also brought an expectation that it would 'continue'.
Under the previous Price, I think people would have been 'happy to receive a quality AAA game every other month - not that they received that - now the expectation is at least a quality AAA game every month. I know they can't please everyone all the time but I did think they would at least try to 'justify' that extra cost.
Dont mind if true. Curious about Bound.
It's also worth remembering Germany doesn't always have the same selection as the rest of Europe, due to stricter censorship...
@iARDAs There not going to do it overnight are they, be real.
@bamozzy Quality is subjective and I don't know why AAA are seen as the biggest example of quality considering the dodgy business practices and the copy and paste nature over most of them. I'd rather have Undertale over pretty much any Ubisoft, EA or Activision title.
@BAMozzy
Duuude lol if we are looking at this from that perspective then PS+ already gave around 500-600$ in value this year.
They give like 5-6 game a month.
And it's even worse when people only care about ps+ games only thing they should care about is getting amazing flash sales and deals.
damn it! I already own Bound, and have no interest in Worms --at all.
Bound was good... mesmerizing even, but man... its like we get punished for buying more games rather than less.
I literally mentioned Bound just yesterday or so. Can't believe I may actually guess something right for once. XD
The recent lineups have racked up a backlog of AAA games you could be playing until NEXT November in total if you're new to all them. If people want to complain for the sake of complaining, it's their dignity they'll be flushing down in public, not Sony's. Bound seems like a simple yet impressive game, an example of when the visuals can actually MATTER in and enrich a video game (and - le gasp - it has nothing to do with 4K again!) while Worms Battlegrounds might make yet another quality local multiplayer addition to the library.
We should know for sure (along with PS3/Vita offerings) any moment now.
@adf86 AND they did not also think of improviong PS Plus overnight as well. Your point is not valid, move along sir.
@Hapuc @adf86 @JoeBlogs I think you are all missing the point. I have said in post #24 that 'value' as in cost is not necessarily the 'biggest' aspect of PS+ and how I perceive the games. Quality has a 'big impact' - probably more so than physical cost. Worms and Bound (for example) can be purchased for the same price each as I can purchase MGSv currently. Yet MGSv was much better received than either of these games, You cannot deny that MGSv is a higher rated and overall better game.
People are associating 'Value' with 'cost' rather than 'quality' of that experience. A game that costs $60 (like the Order for example) has far less 'value' than a game like 'Rocket League' proved to be. A 'disappointing' PS+ month is a month where NONE of the games are games that I would waste 'disc space' on - even if they cost $60 each. A great month is where 'both' games are wanted. You also have to factor in that these games are not $60 games they are giving away but a 'temporary/conditional licence' to play these games.
AAA games in general offer a much longer experience. Games that will still be played when the 'next' months games come, not finished in a weekend.
I couldn't care less if a Dev poured their Heart and Soul into a game that I dismiss. If its not something I want to play etc then I couldn't care less. Its no different from a music artist putting their heart and soul into an Album but if I don't like the music, I couldn't care less.
I also know that some AAA games are guilty of dodgy practices, designed to bleed their customers dry of any free cash they may have - even cash they don't have. Again though that comes down to value being purely perceived as 'cost of product' rather than the 'value' of the package in terms of quality. Not just visuals, but a whole list of factors like 'story', game options (MP, Co-op and/or SP) and replayability, how long the game lasts - again not just 'length' of the campaign but how long it takes for you to be 'finished' with it. If after an hour you are bored or fed up with it, regardless of 'cost' its not great 'value' compared to a game you are still playing months later. I could go on and on about what makes a game have 'Value' - and 99% of it is not just price.
As for other 'benefits' like digital discounts, I couldn't care less. I much prefer to buy Physical (where possible) and often can find games a LOT cheaper than their 'Sale' price - even with PS+ extra discount. In all the time I have owned PS+, I have only bought 1 game - Ratchet and Clank. PS+ saved me £1.30 (I think) so if I relied on Sales to get my £50 back, I would have to spend around £500 on games in the store that are 'discounted' more by having PS+. PS+ saves usually an extra 10% but even without PS+, its not like the games aren't offered in sales to non-subscribers. Ratchet and Clank for example was on Sale to 'non-subscribers for £12.99 so I only saved £1.30 on that price but it cost me £40 (now £50) a year to save £1.30.
I know that over the course of a year, you can get your moneys worth with Free games and discounts but that doesn't mean you can't be disappointed when a month comes up that offers 'nothing' of interest at all - regardless of the 'perceived' value of those games. Like I said, those games are not necessarily worth any money as you never 'own' them outright. You can't 'sell' them on to someone else and, if you don't maintain your subscription, they are worthless - even to you.
I think its perfectly reasonable to be 'disappointed' with a service - especially if that 'service' offers you personally nothing you wanted. Just saying its 'free' is not enough. I could give you a bag of trash for free but that wouldn't make it any less 'trash' because its free.
Believe it or not, I am critical and/or disappointed of the offerings from Gold too some months so its not a 'personal' attack on you, Sony or PS+ and I think its perfectly reasonable to expect better from a service you are paying for.
Bound is a marvel in VR. Especially with the free-camera update.
@BAMozzy
I ain't reading that man I just told you Both Subscriptions are 59.99 which means PS+ is not more expensive then Xbox Live.
I would love to have Bound on PS Plus.
Who isnt dying to get that ballet game!!! Lol.
But in all honesty im totally fine with these, bound looks kinda cool actually. We are spoiled 😄
@iARDAs My point like anybody else's is valid but your expecting Sony to make drastic changes in a matter of days just cos you heard them say something about it a couple of days ago. That's completely unrealistic.
@adf86 No no no no no sir. No.. No.. It's not sir. No.
@Hapuc The 'official' price of PS+ for 1 year in the UK is £49.99. The Official price of Xbox Gold for 1 year is £39.99. PS+ WAS £39.99 before the price rise making BOTH the same price.
However, now PS+ is £10 more a year than Gold. Whilst this works out at less than £1 per month its still the more expensive. The 'same' benefits are given to both - free games, sales discounts, online gaming access.
If you own and 'game' on Vita and PS3, then PS+ offers 6 games a month but if you only game on PS4, that drops to 2 (although some months you may get an extra 1/2 thanks to cross buy).
If you own an XB1 you get 4 games a month - two older BC games that you get to keep permanently and unconditionally (although to get the most out of 'some' you need Gold to play online but not to play offline). You also get 2 games that, like PS+ IGC games, are yours to keep but have conditions applied to remain 'playable'.
As I said BOTH offer sales and discounts for subscribers and both offer online gaming access too but PS+ in the UK is £10 more a year.
@iARDAs Great argument, you'd do well at a parliamentary debate.
@BAMozzy
I'm talking about rest of the world not only UK It's 60$ for Both.
@adf86 Make Way for the Queen's guard sir!!!
@Hapuc I don't give a F*** what the cost is in the US and the US isn;t the rest of the world!!! Its still more expensive where I and this site is based!!!
@BAMozzy
Lol that's your thing UK is not the world and I didn't mention US It's your fault you buy from UK sites with UK prices.
You literally now can buy 12 month membership for 39.99 even Push Square mentioned it.
@Hapuc Only to US accounts!!
@BAMozzy
Ahahah you see man you UK dudes srsly are getting ripped of and even more so since brexit happened.
