Star Wars Battlefront 2 PS4 PlayStation 4 1

That’s it, then: all of the holiday blockbusters are out and Thanksgiving awaits. Of course, it’s not the end of the PlayStation 4’s year by any stretch of the imagination – there are still dozens of titles to be released before 2018 arrives – but it does mean you can probably breathe a little bit and catch up on all of the titles you’ve bought, only to leave in their shrink wrap.

Assassin’s Creed Origins is slowly revealing itself as The Game That Never Ends, so having thought I’d finished it last week, I’m going to attempt to actually finish it this week. The problem is I’m kinda hooked on Skyrim since restarting it with PlayStation VR. Dangerous!

After finding my spot on the extremely crowded moral high ground by not buying Battlefront 2, I’ve got time to work on my backlog this weekend. Top of the list this week is Assassins Creed Origins – which I have to say I’m enjoying a hell of a lot – and perennial favourite SMITE.

I'll be playing Far From Noise as I'm in the midst of reviewing it, and then maybe sneaking some Rainbow Six: Siege in here and there. Then my Steam backlog is starting to build up again, so I might try and whittle away at that again.

I'm going to be continuing my slow but steady progress through Wolfenstein: The New Order this weekend, but my primary goal is to play through something a shade lighter. Of course, I'm referring to the colourful 3D platformer de Blob, which I'll be hopping and bopping through to bring you the Push Square verdict.

Besides the usual Call of Duty: WWII and Super Mario Odyssey, I will be checking out Moira in Overwatch and getting a bit further in Super Mario RPG this weekend.
