Minus a few stragglers, all of the big game releases are out, and the busy November shopping window is over. It means that we can all take a bit of a breather for a week or two, before The Game Awards and PlayStation Experience get underway, anyway. The question is: what will be occupying you during your new-found time?

The craziness of Black Friday forced me to temporarily forego my review duties, but I’ll be back in the trenches this weekend, finishing up Monster of the Deep and taking the new episode of Telltale’s Batman for a spin.

With Christmas rapidly approaching it’s time for me to clear out some of my backlog. This weekend I’ll be trying to finish off Ys: Memories of Celceta and also World of Final Fantasy. I’m pretty close to getting the Platinum on Ys but still have a way to go on WoFF.

With an entire weekend off work and a stack of games half the size of my TV to play, my PS4 is going to see a lot of action. On PSVR I'll be checking out Rec Room and Robinson: The Journey, while in the real world I want to spend some time playing through a couple of smaller titles that have gone under the radar such as Expand, Hob, and Ruiner.

I'll be continuing my 100 per cent run of LA Noire, dipping back into Phelps and Co's adventures, while also embarking on my first playthrough of Final Fantasy XV, which I hope doesn't awaken anything within me.

Due to the PSN Black Friday Sale I have alot on my plate this weekend: Injustice 2, Horizon: Zero Dawn, and Yakuza 0 to start, and a bit of Call of Duty: WWII as well.
That’s us, then – but what about you? What are you playing this weekend? Y’all know the drill by now, so let us know in the comments section below.

Finishing up Bastion on the PC. Afterward...
Thinking about starting Valkyria Chronicles on PC. Will probably also start playing Danganronpa V3 on the Vita and The Mummy Demastered on the Switch.
I think i'm finally ready to beat HZD, a game I've been playing on and off since February. I've gotten most of the collectibles, all the cauldrons, all the Tallnecks, and i have all but one power cell. The story really kicked into high gear, and i'm actually looking forward to seeing how it all wraps up. Now do I buy the expansion.....
Just bought horizon + the frozen wild digital and assasin's creed origin on psn sales, plan to play it tomorrow
i got a lot of games, black friday didnt hit my (father's and mother's) wallet actually because being 16 and having your birthday gives you money from the grandpas and grandmoms and uncles, you guys know. been loving hzd,i have the witcher 3 left, maybe a bit of nioh
I treated myself to a Nintendo Switch earlier in the week, so will be playing plenty of Super Mario Odyssey. I also got Zelda BoTW but am saving that. I haven't forgotten my trusty PS4 pro though...on that I'm playing AC Origins, FIFA 18, and CoD WWII (loving War mode!).
Currently trying for the Platinum Trophy on Until Dawn, hopefully will have that sorted this weekend. Been getting really into MLB The Show 17 again, particularly the Diamond Dynasty mode, so will be playing some of that this weekend. Also need to crack on with Persona 5 and could do with picking up Destiny 2 again.
I think I’ll be able to complete the story on Shadow of Mordor GOTY ed today. One more story Mission. I think I’ll stop there and not play all the DLC content, at least not right now. I like the game pretty well. I’ll leave more detailed impressions in the forums when I complete it. But I’m chomping at the bit to start NieR Automata as soon as I finish SOM. Also may play some Persona 5 later tonight, a game I love but have been spreading out.
Mario Odyssey mostly
After caning Dishonored and both of the excellent Daud DLC's all week, I'm playing through Dishonored 2 again before starting Death Of The Outsider. I really love this universe from Arkane Studios.
I finished Uncharted 4 the other day so have started playing Assassin's Creed Origins. It's the first one I've played since the very first Assassin's Creed and I'm rather enjoying it so far. I really like how smooth the gameplay is, especially the platforming. It's very much a Ubisoft game, but there's nothing wrong with that especially when it's this well made.
On handhelds I finally finished Danganronpa V3 (which was excellent) and am continuing with Samus Returns. When my 3DS is charging I've also got back into Trails in the Sky Second Chapter after a very long break from it.
I'm playing Bloodborne. I need to kill and be killed for a while.
treated myself to lost legacy so hopefully starting this and maybe some games with the family . Hopefully worms as I love my eldest daughter reaction to loosing so much.
Mario Odyssey, Ultra Sun and Yakuza Kiwami
I'll mostly be playing Lego Marvel Superheroes 2 with some Sims 4 on the side. I also need to jump into AC Origins at some point in order to get Sobek beaten before the event ends. I've got some other unfinished games but they'll no doubt stay that way until I get Lego Marvel finished at least.
@Th3solution
Finished SoM couple of weeks ago so I'm on to Shadow of War.
Really like these games. Would recommend the sequel to anyone that liked Shadow of Mordor.
agents of mayhem new lake on euro fishing f1 2017
PS4: GTA V
PSVR: Skyrim VR
Nintendo Switch: Super Mario Odyssey
It's been a busy week, so I haven't gotten as much Skyrim VR in as I would like. Time permitting I'll be able to give it a few hours over the weekend.
Hoping to also finish Super Mario Odyssey this weekend & make some headway in GTA V's excellent story campaign.
Will try and actually finish something this weekend with Horizon expansion
With a full week off work I thought I'd of got well sunk into and finished some games with time to start a bunch of new ones that I got this week but noooo all I got finished was Cat Quest.
Still,at least I'm still very much enjoying the games I AM playing...being Mario Odyssey,Lego City Under Cover,The Frozen Wilds,Guardians Of The Galaxy and Piczle Lines
PS4 - Yakuza Kiwami (near the end of the main story), Assassin's Creed Origins (main story done, cleaning up some side missions)
Switch - Super Mario Odyssey
@OutspokenHuman I think I'll wait on it, play through some ACO.
Assassin's Creed Origins and mass effect Andromeda. Got the latter for $10, was curious if it as bad as alot of people say. So far I'd say it's definitely worth $10.
Ac origins,la noire and just started titanfall 2,yakuza 0 and fallout 4 goty edition that I picked up in Black Friday sales
Just started a new game of Skyrim, and even though I've put well over 1000 hours into it, I'm addicted all over again.
Might play some Mario Odyssey too. Still not very far in that game. I'm actually finding it a lot of fun to be a semi-completionist, which is something I never do. I probably won't get all the moons, but I'll get as many as I can.
It turns out I haven't finished Wipeout HD's campaign, so I may get on that. Probably go back to Chain of Memories as well.
Splatoon 2 as usual. The recent update added a lot of nice things, including changing gear without leaving the lobby.
I bought Binding of Isaac Rebirth, night and day compared to the original so I am hooked.
Bought 3 games yesterday. Life is strange (whole season for $5!), Evil Within 2 and The Show for my bro who is a Cubs fan.
Finishing L.A. Noire. Then I’ll be jumping into Wolfenstein II which should be delivered today. Got it for $25 during the Black Friday sale. Always worth waiting on big end-of-the-year games.
Until Dawn: Rush of Blood (psvr) and Tales of Hearts R - psv (still need a few trophies for the almost platinum)
@McGuit Yeah, it was pretty good. Gameplay was a little unoriginal, but still quite enjoyable. Does Shadow of War fix some of the wonky and inaccurate nature of the character movement and traversal? It was frustrating sometimes — getting stuck in corners, trying to turn or jump and your character doesn’t respond or goes the wrong way or does so very slowly, etc.
Can't wait for PSX.
VGA? Ugh...
I'm playing Wolfenstein 2 on PS4 and Mario Odyssey on Switch.
@get2sammyb finally was able to get cat call skill to get the Cat Fight achievement on Injustice 2 and now need to get my last 6 characters to 20 for the platinum: Swamp Thing (15). Cheetah (15), Dr. Fate (15), Blue Beetle (15). Firestorm (17), & Deadshot (18). Once I'm done with that it will be on to episode 4 of Guardians of the Galaxy Telltale.
@OutspokenHuman I’ll be curious what you think of ZTD. I have it in my backlog. I quite liked 999 and VLR. I heard ZTD is not quite up to par with its predecessors though, so I’ve not been pressed to play it.
Haven’t gotten to play much this Thanksgiving, but it’ll probably be either Prey, Overwatch, or taking a second shot at Skyrim VR
Street Fighter V, Marvel vs Capcom Infinite, King of of Fighters 14, Tekken 7, and Uncharted Lost Legacy for PS4. For Switch- Super Mario Odyssey, Gunvolt Striker pack, and some Neo Geo games.
probably going to blast through some more FFXV Comrades, maybe the odd game on Overwatch IF i can ever get in one, waited 10 minutes to join a game yesterday, start on South Park the Fractured but Whole AND perhaps work on my FFIX, i put it on the back burner for a while but i think i might start playing it again soon
that's about it, i was thinking of getting The Witcher Wild Hunts as it's on sale BUT i have too many games i need to finish so i really shouldn't be getting any new games right now
Seeing as I've given swbf2 a miss, I've bought CoD WWII instead. About three missions in and I'm really enjoying it. It's Cod, so there's not a great deal to say about it, but my mates have it so I can at least play with them.
Windows Phone
Breeze
Earthworm Jim HD
Angry Birds Star Wars
@oryo23 So much quality gaming there!
On Vita action this weekend mostly so I’ve started Virtues Last Reward, heard great things about it, I’ll also be playing some Championship Mamager 01/02 which should flood back memories! Lastly I’ll be playing some CoD:WWII on Sunday night when I get back to my flat, I’ll jump into Zombies and pray I find a team that plays the objectives!!
@Kidfried Are you starting to see things in the real world you want to fulton yet?
This weekend is all about x factor semi finals and maybe a shot of puyo puyo tetris.
Traded in my Xbox 1 S this weekend towards one of the PS4 Pro sales. So my PS4 is moving to my son's room, and the Pro is taking its spot with the VR in the living room. The Pro came with Horizon, which I had skipped at launch just because it was so close to the Switch release and Breath of the Wild, so finally giving that a go, and picked up Wolfenstein 2 on the PSN store sale. between those and LA Noire on Switch, and some Farpoint on VR after the kids go to bed... my weekend is packed.
@mookysam I've been playing Trails in the Sky SC on and off for months now, duno why but I just can't seem to push myself to just finish it off
@themcnoisy X-Factor? God help you bro
@themcnoisy Haha same here! X factor followed by I'm a Celebrity...gives me about 5 hours on the switch over the weekend .
Funnily enough, im playing World of Final Fantasy
@Fight_Teza_Fight @Hego Followed by Im a celebrity taking Tezas advice. Great times. Now Im on motd and will pickup the vita later for my gaming fix.
I just finishes The Frozen Wilds. MAN is that game great! So ill be partying up with friends in Battlefront 2.
@RedMageLanakyn That would a big YES! Buy The Frozen Wilds!!!
@3Above I will eventually, and I've enjoyed the world of HZD, but i'm ready to hop into Egypt!
@Hego It also took me ages to get into the first one, but I loved it once it all clicked. They're definitely slow-burners, not exactly helped by the combat. I tend to get really distracted when I play handheld games these days.
Finally opened my pack-in copy of Uncharted 4 and stopped at chapter 10. Later comes the back half of Cat Quest, which I'm really liking.
Having just completed mario oddessey. Im onto NFS carbon-ps3, some battlefield 1, assassins creed origins, and South park the fractured but whole.
I’m playing a game called: Wisedom Teeth Aftermath Simulator and btw it’s harder than Dark Souls!
WoFF for me. Trying to finish it...
Just got a retail copy of the Uncharted trilogy for less than € 20. Never played any Nathan's game so this was very tempting.
@whizzkidd im still inching my way down the colosseum battles.
Mario odyssey. Planning it slowly, to get maximum enjoyment.
Grinding my trial of cold steel 2 party to level 125 on the ps vita. Getting ready for the final fight. Probably been playing this game for 4 months.
Looking forward to choas;child on the vita once cold steel 2 is completed. Hope it almost as good as stein;gates (best video game story every)
