Awesome looking 80s cartoon-inspired adventure Crossing Souls will cross streams on the PlayStation 4 on 13th February, publisher Devolver Digital has confirmed. The title – which will be playable at PlayStation Experience 2017 next week – sees you assume the role of several ordinary kids who gain extraordinary superpowers. They soon find themselves embroiled in a government conspiracy, as they’re able to toggle between two planes of existence: life and death.
Of course, this all makes for plenty of puzzle opportunities, as you must jump between realities to progress, while also taking advantage of each character’s individual abilities. There’s a trailer embedded above which should give you a good idea of the kind of vibe the title’s going for – it looks really cool in our opinion.

Looks awesome!
I waiting for the sequel "Crushing Souls", where they all graduate from college with ginormous student loans, can't get a job above minimum wage, and their tax rate is 50% to make up for the corporate rate going to zero.
In the game you play as a giant boot that says 1% on the side and you move it around crushing ant sized people scurrying about slowly below it. The game will do really well b/c it will have Cupheads graphics and Jump Up, Super Star! will ironically be the only music in the game as the ant sized people can't jump being weighed down by their debt.
@rjejr A cheery thought on this otherwise happy Sunday. Thanks!

Looks boss! Devolver are easily my favourite publisher.
Looks great. I'll pick it up for sure. Reminds me of the book, Ready Player One.
Wow, that looks like it could be really good. With DD publishing it probably will be great.
Day one.
@rjejr What does this have to do with this go to the forum with this stuff.
@Flaming_Kaiser "What does this have to do with this"
Well the name of this game is "Crossing Souls", but when I read it for some reason my mind read "Crushing Souls", so that's what this has to do with this, word association.

Looks pretty great! PlayStation Experience is looking all kids of awesome, and I can't to see all the games Sony are presenting on stage.
@Flaming_Kaiser Hey, I enjoyed @rjejr 's comment. I think it's important to think about! Too many kids these days go through life thinking that everything will work out they they want it to if they just work hard at it, but fail to realize the crushing realization that life is merely a series of closing doors. I remember one time a door closed on my hand and almost took it clean off; that was the moment I thought to myself. Hey, enjoy life buddy because you never what's gonna happen when you turn the next corner. One minute you're on the couch, enjoying life, watching a marathon of mind numbing, eye watering, pulls-you-down-into-oblivion gameshows and the next minute you're running for office sending mean tweets while you're on the john and you're wife is yelling at you to out for dinner because you've been on it for three hours. Life comes at you hard guys.
Looks... like an indie game, cutscene art makes me think of the burger king kids club.
@JoeBlogs Ah you are going for the righteous indignation dollar, that's a good strategy, big market!
(at least I hope we are both quoting the same source!).
@JoeBlogs Lol ace - if we werent then I was being very rude. Great quote!
