I really enjoyed the souls series but Bloodborne was just a step above. For someone who liked the souls series but wasn't in love with it, Bloodborne took me on a journey. Let's hope this is a sequel.

With no PSX, I guess we'll just have to wait till E3.

There's "kanji" in the background and you can hear a japanese flute playing. It could be Bloodborne 2 but I'm more inclined to something asian themed.

@Athrum It could still be Bloodborne 2, even with the asian setting. I'm about 50/50, it's likely some kind of Souls game though.

A remake, remaster, or sequel related to Shadow Tower Abyss is a distinct possibility, especially with the "Shadows Die Twice" tag.

Definitely some serious Bloodborne vibes from that - the word 'Twice' suggests a sequel and the font is the exact same as the one used in Bloodborne. The 'shadows' bit has made me wonder whether it's Tenchu, though. Whatever it is, I want it. Now. Please.

EDIT: Just seen someone point out that when the winch (or whatever it is) rotates, you can see what looks like a blade stuck in the ropes - a blade shaped very much like a kunai. Which does give the Tenchu theory a little weight. But! Then again, an 'Eastern' location is referred to in Bloodborne. Who says a sequel would be set in Yharnam? So basically, it could be anything, but Bloodborne seems most likely at the moment. Excited either way!

It's definitely not a follow-up to Bloodborne.
Bloodborne is a Sony IP and there is no way they wouldnt announce a potential sequel themselves.

Tbf I don't think it's Bloodborne 2 anymore. The signs seem to point towards an old FromSoftware IP.

I'd give one of my lungs even for "just" a remake of Dark Souls 1; so whatever they are working on, I'm just happy they are doing it.

I don't care if it's Bloodborne 2. It'll probably be gold even if it's something new. Remember when Demons Souls was exclusive so they made Dark Souls to go multi-platform? I was kind of hoping they'd do something similar with Bloodborne. If that game was on my Switch I would never stop playing it. But hey, whatever they release is fine by me, and I'll be happy with a PS4 release regardless.
