The trio of Jak & Daxter titles set to release on the PlayStation 4 this week as PS2 Classics will come with 118 Trophies in tow – and that’s ignoring Jak & Daxter: The Precursor Legacy, which launched earlier in the year. All of the titles include Platinum Trophies, with Jak X: Combat Racing receiving virtual trinkets for the very first time.
In other news, Sony has now confirmed that the titles will be available for $14.99 apiece, or you’ll be able to purchase a bundle including all four titles for $39.99. Don’t worry if you already own The Precursor Legacy, though, as there’ll be a cheaper bundle excluding that if you nabbed it earlier in the year.

Could you start putting the price in euros too? Would be cool
@stu123 @AFCC Only have the US prices ATM!
Sounds like a better deal to just add the bundle. Now, maybe they're work on more PS2 re-releases on the PS4, instead of one every few months or so. I'm still waiting for the Grandia titles!!!! Also, gonna be hard to choose between the next Jak games or Loco Roco 2!!!! Too much on their store to choose and retail is getting pretty big too!!!! Just picked up Horizon over the black friday price tag...$15 was well worth it in my books!!!
that's nice of them to offer a bundle with just the three new games. do you have a price for that one? if the discount for the 4 game bundle is any indication it should be around $30.
@JLPick where did you get horizon for $15?
Never played any Jax games, might give the main trilogy a go when they're on sale.
I never finish jax 1 on ps2, maybe I'll try it on ps4. I hope sony release ape escape 3 next.
@manu0 If you had Best Buy's Gamer Club Unlocked, they were selling Horizon: Zero Dawn for $16 two weeks before Black Friday week.
You pay $30 and for two years get 20% off all games online and in-store.
@JLPick There's a lot of PS2 games that really needs the PS4 treatment.
Hell, there were even rumors of God Hand coming to the PS4. Whatever happened to that?
@get2sammyb i just halve the price if it say 30 dollars call it about 15 pound
@get2sammyb ok ok thanks! 15 euros for Jak 2 would be perfect but I'm thinking it's gotta be 20
This game need a new part.
I have been wanting to grab The Precursor Legacy but was holding off for the collection! Is this coming to retail Disc at launch?
@JohnKarnes I believe it's digital only.
Good to see a bundle without Jak 1. Sweet deal.
@YummyHappyPills I recently got the Plat on Jax 1 on PS3 b/c we own that trilogy on disc. Makes me not care too much about this re-re-release. I do agree that having a game, or even a Plat on a game, should give me a discount on the newer version. That would be some incentive to Plat games.
Those games are tempting, I really enjoyed them back in the PS2 days. There's no way I'd ever attempt the Platinum trophies though, collecting every single precursor orb would take way too long.
Man I need to take a year off work with these and my ridiculous backlog...
Finally some more PS2 games!
@manu0 At walmart...they had over a dozen copies in the $15 section on black friday! It was priced wrong, but with all the copies they had there, they had to go with the price! I got lucky with a few things like this over the years...Circuit City (when it was still around) had the newest Family Guy season marked at 5.99...the 2 never showed up in any copies they had, so I ended up getting it for 6 before they took them all away!!! Other than that, my luck kind of sucks...I'd wait and wait for a game to go down in price, either it then becomes hard to find, or it never goes down until I actually buy it.
@SoulsBourne128 I'd even love for them to put some of the PS3 titles on the store, as those games are becoming harder to find! Guess I'm still wishing for a re-release of Dante's Inferno, but I'm really hoping for more PS2 goodies to arrive (Spyro, Klonoa 2) and since they've been putting on some PSP titles too...I'd love to see the 2x Hot Shots Golf's come out on it and some other PSP goodies from 3rd parties too!!! I'd also like Sega to start re-releasing some of their goodies too (Billy Hatcher from the Gamecube era, Sonic Shuffle from Dreamcast, the original Shenmue, Time Stalkers, Evolution 1-2, Skies Of Arcadia, Dragon Riders Chronicles Of Pern and the Phantasy Star Online titles). Hopefully, with 8-bit titles making a small comeback, more will start getting the hint and bring them back into play!
I don't know(and should just Google it) but hopefully 'Jak X: Combat Racing' has a 4 player split-screen mode? Or maybe these next-gen consoles can't do 4 player split-screen modes It seems that way because no one seems to bother in this (YAWN) 'you have to do everything online nowadays' days
For those who have played it, how would you say Jak X: Combat Racing stacks up against the likes of Mario Kart, Diddy Kong Racing and Crash Team Racing?
@DerMeister seems as if the bundle without jak 1 hasn't shown up yet?!
