Bandai Namco just doesn't stop with these anime-based games, does it? Hot on the heels of the recent My Hero Academia: One's Justice announcement, the publisher has revealed that it's also got a Black Clover title in the works. The latter started out as a manga series in 2015, but its popularity skyrocketed only recently when it was adapted into an anime.
All we have to go on right now is the teaser trailer that we've embedded above, but it looks like we've got some sort of action game on our hands. The project is due out next year.

Black Clover, I honestly do not like this series. Just can’t get into it.
But...why? The anime isn't even that great. I mean its not bad but it suffers greatly from all the Shonen tropes that we've seen over and over.
Besides, there are plenty people on youtube that criticizes the show's mediocricy (and don't get me started on Asta's voice)
The only credit I can give to Black Clover is that Asta, the protagonist, dual-wields black swords/magic greatswords or something, which at least its something different when compared to the rest of the hand-to-hand and katana-wielding shonen protagonists.
How many anime-based games does Bandai Namco have in 2018? O_O
@WanderingBullet Bamco's got a monopoly on just about everything anime at this point — it's nuts. We've got Dragon Ball FighterZ, My Hero Academia: One's Justice, and now Black Clover all confirmed for 2018. On top of that, it's announcing a new One Piece game next week (if I remember right). All we need now is a new Naruto game alongside Gundam and we'll have a full house.
The manga is pretty good, but the anime is straight trash. So I’m a bit confused as to why it’s getting a game. Though hopefully it ends up good.
@WanderingBullet No wait, we ARE getting a new Naruto game next year! Bloody hell!
@WanderingBullet And Sword Art Online! (sorry for all the replies)
@ShogunRok No worries, there's also the Seven Deadly Sins too.
@WanderingBullet Good lord.
@ShogunRok Girls und Panzer is another one.
Is obvious that this one is going to suck. First off, the anime isn't even that great. Second, we only covered so far one season. And third, it would most likely end up being either a generic Warriors clone, or an unbalanced arena fighter (with stiff animations during cutscenes).
And honestly, I'm just going to say that anime games from Bamco all ranges from decent (Dragonball, Naruto, Gundam Versus) to downright mediocre (almost every anime games they have released such as J Stars, Asterisk War, Jojo Eyes of Heaven, SAO, etc).
Namco got a lot of Shonen Jump titles. Won’t surprise me if they make a Promise Neverland game or something.
Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhh!!!!!!!
