Pata-pata-pata-pon! Hot on the heels of this year’s Patapon remaster for PlayStation 4, Sony’s announced that Patapon 2 Remastered is on the way. Once again boasting 4K presentation on the PS4 Pro, this port of the legendary PSP rhythm role-playing sequel introduces a slew of new characters to the mix – including the fully customisable Hero Patapon.
Personally, this version was our favourite, so we’re glad to see it get the remaster treatment. We hope that Sony’s been listening to feedback, though, as both its PaRappa the Rapper and Patapon remasters have lacked television calibration tools – a damn near essential addition for portable-to-television ports due to the input lag that’s introduced.

Is it digital only?
@WanderingBullet It probably will be yes. For now anyway.
@get2sammyb Thanks. In that case I don't have to keep checking Amazon to see if they have the physical version available for pre-order or not.
Was only a matter of time, really I like the fact Sony is reissuing these on PS4. Let’s hope the calibration option is included this time.
YEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEES!
I hope they'll include the multiplayer that was in the game too.
Patapon 2 was my favorite of the trilogy.
Day one.
i suspect it'll get a physical release once they have done all three
