Remember earlier in the year when we previewed Shadow of the Colossus’ upcoming PlayStation 4 remake and noted that it looks just as good as any current-gen release? Well here’s the proof. Sony’s gone live with a new PlayStation Underground video showing off the title in all of its spangly new glory, and we’re sure you’ll agree that it looks absolutely wild visually.
A quality conversion is to be expected from Bluepoint, of course, as the Texas-based team’s arguably the master of this sort of thing, but still… Wow! Earlier today, we reported that PS4 Pro owners will be able to choose between either resolution or performance, so whether you want extra pretty or 60 frames-per-second, that’s up to you to decide.

bought it several times already and ill buy it again. I have reservations about the visuals, but we'll see how it looks in final.
I think the game looks phenomenal.
Good lord, this game looks like it was completely rebuilt from the ground up for modern technology. It's beautiful!
@b1ackjack_ps Can't run worse than the original. "Greatest game of all time" SotC ran at 15 - 20 fps on the PS2 most of the time. It's funny how different standards have become.
My only criticism is Wander's face which hasn't converted well.
For this experience to truly work out, I’m wanting a good, steady 120 beats per minute.
Better than I dreamed. I can't wait. I've already pre-ordered the digital version, but am tempted to also get the physical collector edition.
I honestly can't believe the world looks this great. Bluepoint really outdid themselves this time.
wow that looks fantastic.
You can always trust Bluepoint, they are really great.
This looks better than the last guardian, it's like a new first party ps4 AAA game.
Sony should buy Bluepoint and make them remade all of playstation past games, port all of them to ps4 x86 architecture so if ps5 use the same architecture, a new generation of gamers can play it again.
@sketchturner Yeah, me too, I want the convinience of digital but I want the steelbook edition with manual too lol, and the price ain't bad ($50). I think I'll buy the special edition first, and digital later when its discounted on psn.

I am so, so pleased that I bought a PS4 Pro for Black Friday. SOTC in 60fps is just incredible.
Really looking forward to playing this for the first time.
I somehow have never played this. I think it's finally going to be time to see what the fuss is about.
