I held off getting RiMe for more triple A stuff, but followed its development from the beginning, can’t wait to give I a go.

Had knack since day 1,rime and grand kingdom(demo was pretty good) I've looked at a few times but never got round to buying so great for me personally

Nice. Pretty happy with this. Of course both PS4 titles will nestle in comfortably into my backlog along with Deus Ex and many others, but at least I have decent interest to play them both at some point.

if it wasn't for Rime and Knack this month would suck. Couple of niche Japanese games and two others I've never even heard of.

Knack is one of the most underrated PS4 games.

I'm looking forward to RiME! Also happy to snag Grand Kingdom for my Vita. I'm not familiar with Exile's End, but I like the Super Metroid feel. Anyone play it?

PS4 offerings confirmed, but Vita takes the cake for me. To think Grand Kingdom actually happened! Arguably one of the best Vita offerings lately (not to mention the second big Japanese title in a row, from Spike Chunsoft to boot... if it's by any means a budding trend, I'm all for it XD), and then they go and add a curious metroidvania on top of it. And even though I can't play it, props for another JRPG on PS3. Quite a month indeed!

This is an extremely strong month if you have all 3 platforms, and then even stronger if you also have psvr.

I don't have both, really happy with these games being offered.

@doctommaso that's going too far. It's not an abomination, but it definitely sucks.

Can Sony just stop with the Vita and ps3 releases already? They always suck and barely anyone even cares about them, least of all Sony. They seem to prefer to just tout the ps4 entries so just move on from the legacy consoles already.

Knack is crappy with a horrible trophy list/collectible scheme. But I will try RiME. Someday.

Folk have been screaming for it for long.

Personally I really don’t like the art style of RiME, Breath of the Wild and so on.
And to be honest this month was expected from a personal perspective given we had Deus Ex last month which is an absolute belter.

I just got an Xbox One so I have plenty to do until March 😂

@gingerfrog uh, I'm just stating something obvious. Of course a few people still take the PS3 and Vita games, but I'm pretty sure most just take a ps4 game every now and then. The other systems just aren't getting legitimate attention from Sony. They don't even mention them in the Blog videos.

We all knew Knack would be in the PS Line-Up sooner or later. But I always hoped it would be later ya'll know?!

@Yowza Actually, I was quite serious. One of the better PS4 games I've played. Had way more FUN playing Knack than playing Dragon's Dogma, Witcher 3, and several others.

Ps Plus hasn't had an awful lot to shout about recently but this is decent. Knack isn't about being a great game, or aiming for framerates or whatever; it's just decent, silly fun. And I'd been waiting to buy Rime either for the Switch or next time it was in the PS store sale, so this is pretty cool!

Psycho Pass Mandatory Happiness for Jan on PsVita appears now to be available for PS4 too, or atleast I could download for free.

Very excited for RiME. Really didn't think we would get it as it's still fairly recent and just released on Switch.

Shame about Grand Kingdom. I bought that game 6 months ago for £20, still haven't played it & now it's free. Money down the drain .

Happy with grand kingdom always seems to be on sale, add it to my basket then backlog guilt kicks in and gets removed

@Bad-MuthaAdebisi Psycho pass is probably my favourite visual novel to date, Im a fan of the anime though which helps massively. Struggling to crack the platinum but I will do it! Ive been playing it on ps4 for at least a week when pushsquare published an article on its inclusion in the ps4 igc.

@Yowza But PS Vita and PS 3 owners pay the same sub. Dont get me wrong I could understand if Sony shut them down but as it stands its great value. (I hardly ever use my Vita tbh)

This is a great month! Deus ex, psycho pass, knack, rime and grand kingdom over the first 2 months. That pays for psplus for the year man!

Yay! I've been asking for Knack since the beginning of time! Come close to buying it on sale at £4 many times, lol

The only reason I'm happy that we get Knack in February is that some whiny ass people can finally shut up about this mediocre game in the monthly psplus prediction comments.

Rime on the other hand is the true gift in February. Good job Sony.

Knack is £9.99 pre-owned in CEX and Game saw it today as I was looking for a new game and she shouted that out but I said no. Saved my self some money then since it's gonna be free oddly I bought a £20 card for my account but I've no idea what to spend it on. Was considering Farcry 4 but no to sure as I got bored of 3 on PC and PS3 then there was Sniper Elite V3 I enjoyed 2 on PC but don't have any co op partners. I'll leave it on my account to burn I suppose lol

The PS+ lineup in 2018 has been excellent so far.

Excellent news about Rime not being a rumour!And even better Grand Kingdom being in the line up too?I played the beta or demo to that one before it was released and loved the battle system but never did pick it up...just as well

@themcnoisy yeah, I know the $60 a year includes all three systems and whatnot, but the offerings for the old systems have been so lame for a long time. Maybe lame isn't the right word for the Vita games. They've been more niche. But PS3 has been lame.

Ive just realised we are saying goodbye to one of Pushsquares longest running traditions. So everyone raise a glass to Knack on psplus. Weve called it since the dawn of PS4 and its finally here! @Yowza Speak for yourself. Many of the psvita and some ps3 ps+ games have actually being great. I and many others most certainly care about them. Grand Kingdom is excellent. So was Psycho Pass Mandatory Happiness.

Yup, good month that is. I hope loads of new Knackers will be pleasantly surprised and enjoy the game.

Anyway. Knack kinda reminds me of ratchet and clank. I'm looking forward to playing it for the first time

Got a little put off by RiME, mixed reviews, was thinking of getting it for Switch so then it was overpriced...

Price is right now, gonna be all over RiME.

PS4 & Knack at launch player. It was a fun and cute platformer. Sort of reminded me of Saturday morning cartoons when I was a kid. I feel the need to revisit it whit the digital version. Even though I already have it on Disc I give this month a thumbs up!

It's only been, what, 3 years since people originally thought Knack was going to hit Plus.

Can't say I'm interested in either of these, personally. I did like the look of Rime when it was announced, but I'm not sure I can be bothered now. Got lots of other stuff to play, and I still haven't started on Until Dawn!

Excellent month !! Knack was long awaited, Rime is a good surprise and Grand Kingdom is the bonus I didn't know that I wanted to play so much.

Grand Kingdom for PS4 is on sale right now at a 70% reduced price from 19/1/2018 01:00 am until 8/2/2018 12:59 am. It would be a punch to the face for everyone who bought this during that time, if the Vita version really will be cross-buy with PS4 next week.

@SMKpaladin Don't worry. I already purchased it two weeks ago in the last sake (the vita version). Also, no it's not cross by so that won't happen.

• Just had my 3rd PS3 break on me this week :-/ GOD the PS3 hardware is AWFUL :-/ 1st 60GB PS3 got YLOD and the my 2nd PS3(160GB) got YLOD and now my PS3 Slim's disc drive won't play any types of Discs anymore :-/ Thought of getting a Super Slim PS3 but the rare shops that do sell them they cost £300?!?! still :-/ + I have spend over 1K on PS3 hardware so I really might just forget it now. Oh well.

Rime, for free? Already? It's almost as if Sony has no regard for my backlog.

Wouldn't be suprised if Knack 2 sales go up next month. Knack was a decent game that my kids loved and did not deserve the hate it got.

Either way try it for yourself if you have not played it before its worth a playthrough.

This is another amazing month for me. We have Knack which is a game I was interested in but was never gonna buy, plus two great niche Japanese games I'm really interested in. Rime looks great too, very ICO-like.

@Carl-G Look into getting it repaired rather than buying new ones. The one and only PS3 I've had was given to me by a friend who said it didn't work. I opened it up, decided I didn't know what I was looking at, put it back together again and it's worked ever since. I must have nudged something. The same friend had an Xbox 360 that didn't work. Our mutual tech-minded friend opened it, noticed the problem was the fan being loose, tightened it, and it worked ever since. So yeah, if you have a friend like that, ask them to check - or even ask in CeX or somewhere like that.

@Bad-MuthaAdebisi It has been for a while - me and some other people were saying it in last month's PS+ thread but the staff didn't seem to notice.

It's okay. Not entirely sure why people are so excited though. Knack is Knack, and RiME is a good game, but not exactly a killer IP.

@KirbyTheVampire I think what you have to bear in mind with PS+ is that if a game is an absolute must-buy, people have probably already bought it. For example, if Monster Hunter World goes on PS+ in 2021, it won't actually be that great for millions of people since they already have it. I mean, a few days since it released, there's already the best part of 5 million people for whom MHW on PS+ will be redundant.

That means it's down to games that flew under people's radars or were nearly bought but something else came along instead. Like I said in my previous post, I was never gonna buy Knack but it interests me to play it. Grand Kingdom was on my wishlist but behind a hundred other games. It's that sort of thing that makes a good month.
