Treyarch is developing the next Call of Duty game. That’s literally all Activision would say about the title during a financial call earlier today, although it did tease that it “can’t wait to share more” in the future. Rumour has it that the title is Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 which will adopt a contemporary setting, but the publisher wouldn’t be drawn on specifics.
Chief executive officer Eric Hirshberg did, however, hint that he believes the company has the “best three-year slate” in Call of Duty’s history. This will, of course, include the next titles from Infinity Ward and Sledgehammer Games as well. Of course, Hirshberg himself won’t be around to see any of the titles launch; he’s leaving his post shortly.

WHAT? Omg I've been waiting for a new COD for so long
The year we don't get a new CoD game, it'll feel so weird.
Do you think they’ll have found a way to squeeze in a battle royal mode in multiplayer?
I hope the single player mode story is good, I like advanced warfare but blop 3 story is jut too weird, infinity warfare is too futuristic, and I don't like ww2 fps games.
Cod is great.
If your 8.
With no mates.
@themcnoisy 'YOUR' 8 cause you don't know how to write eheheheh jk!
Yeah, I enjoyed COD way more back in the day than I do today
I always enjoyed the Black Ops lines once they are like $20. They usually have decent online coop. I never liked zombies though....
Next you'll be telling me that EA are releasing a FIFA 19 this year too
It would be bigger news if they waited a year to make a decent game and im not talking about another studio making it.
