Well whaddya know, Grimes has been hanging out with Hideo Kojima and the Death Stranding crew. For those out of the loop, Grimes is a Canadian musician who mainly dabbles in art pop. She's also a regular feature on the Push Square office stereo, so you can see why we're eager to pen this article.
Anyway, Grimes has posted multiple photographs on her Instagram account which show her standing next to Kojima and lead actor Norman Reedus. Reedus is in a motion capture suit, so it's safe to assume that this is at the Death Stranding studio. Kojima also tweeted about the meeting and included a picture of himself holding Grimes' most recent album. All of these photos are around half a day old.
Naturally, they've sparked a lot of speculation. Is Grimes just visiting? Grimes is apparently a known Metal Gear fan, so it's entirely possible. Or is there something more to it? Could she be working on the soundtrack? Maybe she's penning the theme song? Death Stranding just loves to throw up more questions.

Maybe one day they will stop casting for this game and actually make it.
Her making the theme song would make a lot of sense thematically given the somewhat weird trailers released so far. Plus she's a Metal Gear fan so Kojima would have his ego stroked and have a theme song written at the same time. I like Grimes, she would be a good fit for this so I hope this is more than just a visit.

Apparently you a test for when you’re old is. If you haven’t bought any cd in the last 10 year that we’re made in that decade you’re old. I’m old. But I guess the aphex twin doesn’t appeal to the masses. I guess it never did. Still I do think good music is good music. So hopefully I’ll be Impressed
