Good news, everyone - the European Store's PS Plus games have been updated, which means you can finally get your hands on the Internet's favourite action platformer, Knack. The US Store should update soon.
Before you get too excited, though, do bear in mind there are plenty of other titles to get stuck into this month. The lovely RiME is also available to PS4 owners, while the PS3 gets Spelunker HD and Mugen Souls Z. You'll also be able to play Exile's End and Grand Kingdom, the latter of which you can also download to your PS4. StarBlood Arena continues to represent PlayStation VR on PS Plus, too.
There's plenty to play in another great month of Plus games, but what will you be playing first? Are you excited to finally give Knack a try? Let us know in the comments below.

I tried to think of something clever to create a Rime with, but I don't have a Knack for it. I'll just say I'm looking forward to Grand Kingdom.
KNACK BABY!
Added both PS4 offerings to my library but doubt I will bother with them - far too many better games in my backlog. Hopefully now though people will shut up about wanting Knack every month - what's next? Killzone??
@BAMozzy im pretty sure Killzone was on ps plus before. Myself im looking forward to Rime. I completed Knack and the best part was oddly the mobile companion app lol
Maybe I will get Rime but I wont waste my time and bandwidth with Knack.
@Danloaded Killzone Shadowfall has never been offered as a free game - Mercenaries (PSVita) has as have both Infamous games (2nd Son and 1st light) but Killzone: SF has not been added... YET.
Not that I am overly bothered if it does get added or not - I already own the game but it might be good to re-invigorate the MP.
I really don't care for games like Rime, Journey etc and only added it because I was on the webpage and its just so easy to add to shopping trolley - did the same with last month's Batman too but I have NO intention or inclination to play. Games like Knack or LBP3 which I have also added don't appeal either - these games I may have played when my youngest was still in primary school and something they could play safely but I have outgrown games like this. I really enjoyed SM64 too when that released but that too felt somewhat 'childish', but it was also revolutionary in that it opened up gaming to be far more liberating than had previously been possible - not to this degree. I know its at the 'roots' of most games these days - inc Uncharted and Assassin's Creed - with a lot less focus on collectibles and 'platforming' to a degree with more focus on Story. Obviously newer mechanics have been built in such as shooting, cover etc and the platforming as evolved into climbing and mantling but SM64 was the game that defined 3D and analogue movement. It was that 'freedom' that elevated SM64 into a must have.
Knack seemed like a good 'family friendly' launch title. Killzone was more for the Adults as a launch title - at least that's how I see it. I may give it a go but considering the backlog of games I still have with Far Cry 5 and God of War coming in the next couple of months, I can't see myself getting round to playing this.
Each to their own of course but the point I was making is that every month people have been asking for Knack - even though it was only £4 last month and no doubt been on sale a number of times. If they wanted it so badly, why not buy? Of course its immaterial now as its Free - so what's the next game people are going to demand for months on end?
To those still on the fence about Knack, I say give it a shot! I'm not sure why it's getting so much hate. I played it through to the end and it was really fun and satisfying. If you are into action platformers you will love it. Controls are tight, graphics are good, and I think it hits a sweet spot diffuculty wise. (Its pretty easy.)
I played Time for about 45min-hour shortly after the switch release and it just didn't really pull me in. I want to like those types of games but after a short time of the most action being me moving a rock they tend to get dull. Guess it largely just depends on your mood while playing. I plan to grab it, but I'm afraid it's just gonna sit in my dusty backlog which is quickly becoming an abyss. I'm still working through Persona 5, and Monster Hunter, and have save files for Darksiders 2, and Diablo going as well. Not to mention Destiny 2, FIFA, NBA2K, and NFS on call when I just wanna jump into the action.
I haven't played through Horizon or AC: Origins to my liking yet either...
Stop with the good games already!! My backlog has a backlog, wtf!
On a side note, why such a delay in release? I know, I know, it's always the first Tuesday of the month, but maybe it's time to rethink this? My free gold game this month has been downloaded and in my library for nearly a week already... add to that the recent announcement triple A titles are being realeased via the gold sub and Sony's hike in price for the same service, which was already the most expensive of the 3, and the value of Plus is looking pretty frickin grim these days
Just checked store on mobile and not there yet, usually not for a few more hours most months...misleading article
@BAMozzy you make valid points. Only reason i played it was because my brother had it and i didnt have many games at the time. Didnt have an awful time with it but the demand for it basically became a meme. It must be Mercenaries i was thinking of.
There once once a gamer @Elodin
Free games and he started noddin
Rime wasnt his pick
Starblood made him sick
So knack was played rather than nothin.
@themcnoisy haha! Nice!
@Quintumply Thank Knack, god of video games
Finally people will stop talking about Knack, I don't get all the fuss as it's just mediocre at best and the co-op doesn't work very well. I've heard mixed things about Rime but I'll give it a go when I get round to it.
@Quintumply Thank Knack, may he wish me luck with clearing my backlog.
@Tilt_mode That’s so true man. My backlog has a backlog too 😂
And on the subject of the game release dates, doesn’t Games with Gold release the games gradually throughout the month, rather than all at once? PS plus has always done all 6 games on the same day on the first Tuesday of the month. I’d be fine if they broke it up and did 2 games every 10 days. It would give the smaller games a little more attention.
As it is now, I’m kind of intrigued most about Grand Kingdom, the lesser known one.
Finally get to try out Knack without wasting a tenner!
I'm not even going to put Knack in my Library... RiME will be enough.
Indonesian / Asian February Free games includes Evolve, don't know if any people still playing this, but very keen to play this one
