SUPERHOT VR, the superb action puzzler for PlayStation VR, is getting a retail release this month for those who prefer boxes and Blu-ray discs. Currently slated for release on 28th February in Europe – there’s no word on North America just yet – the packaged release won’t bundle in any extras, but you will be able to display it on your shelf if you’re into that sort of thing.
For those of you who don’t know, the game is a kind of John Wick simulator where time only moves when you do. Using two PlayStation Move wands, this opens up all sorts of creative possibilities, as you dance between hails of bullets and toss weapons through the air. It’s honestly one of this author’s favourite PS4 games; do yourself a favour and snap it up if you haven’t already.

BUY IT
Not sure if it's just me, but the controls don't always work, making playing the game infuriating.
@naruball Yeah it's a bit finicky, it pushes the Moves a bit harder than they should reasonably go. Still adore it, though.
@get2sammyb I have a hard time grabbing objects some times and getting shot over something that isn't my fault is the opposite of fun.
This is definitely on my list to buy, so if it comes to the US I may have to pick it up.
I bloody love Super Hot. If you have PSVR and haven't tried this you should definitely correct that toot sweet!
The only time I seem to run into tracking issues is when I crouch behind something. There doesn't seem to be a camera placement in my lounge that will capture everything. But I think that might be more a failing of the PS camera than the game.
In my opinion Superhot VR is the best PSVR game. I would say you need a bit of space to play the game as did end up punching walls!
The game is really fun, especially in VR.
Isn't there a non VR version?
This game is fudging amazing on VR. Agree with comments that the controls sometimes let down the action but when you hit someone, grab their shotgun in mid air and blast some dudes running towards you in one slow movement, it makes you feel like Neo.
I honestly think more VR games need to see retail space. If you go into the store and look at the VR, then only see a few games for it, most people won't bother to pay the money to buy it...especially older folks or parents that may not know what's available in the Playstation store (or sometimes don't even let their kids into the playstation store to buy). Just seems to be looking non-existence in the retail scene.
@Rudy_Manchego Yup. One of the most satisfying games I've ever played (when it works)
@naruball I have one issue is that to the left of where I play I have a small sofa so anything on the floor to my left was pretty much a no no to grab.
Its a gem! Vr + move controllers are unbeatable in this game.
Please. SuperHot VR is an amazing game but Sparc™ is, by far, the best PSVR game.
Easily.
Pls come to North America
