Few things in life are more terrifying that this Tomb Raider-themed Barbie doll, designed to celebrate the release of the new Alicia Vikander movie. Fresh from her roles as an astronaut, vet, and fashion entrepreneur, the popular toy is now taking a turn as archaeologist Lara Croft herself – complete with steely glare and voluminous hair.
The character, complete with her iconic vest top and bandages, comes with a pickaxe accessory and a map. It’s set to go on sale imminently for $29.99 (~£21.99), so keep an (eagle) eye out if you’re eager to add this to your dol—ahem, action figure collection. Keep it away from us, mind – she looks positively terrifying in our opinion.

She looks like she means business. Dread to think where she's planning on sticking that pick axe.
I know these aren't meant for kids, but I can just imagine some hapless parent letting their kid play TR after getting one of these and then recoiling in horror when Lara crashes down a stream and gets impaled through the throat by a stray tree. Wholesome family fun!
I always feel weird seeing games that are 15+ have toys aimed at very young kids, like the Gears of War building block toys they have.
But that expression though, she's swinging that pickaxe at some guy's head with a look of pure ice.
ha!
Hunting Bow and Emotional scars sold separately.
I want a Chris Redfield action man
@kyleforrester87 Don't we all.
@get2sammyb @kyleforrester87 Boulders sold separately.
I wonder if she has a little switch in the back of her head to move those dead eyes like the action man used to.
@ShogunRok Use your imagination! With the eyes of a child, any round object, and a toy coated in shoelaces, you can recreate the climatic Boulder Punch™ Scene!
Feels like this would've sold like hotcakes back when the PS1 Tomb Raider games were released.
@JoeBlogs One of those days.
Gaze long into an abyss, the abyss will also gaze into thee.
Too bad you she's not all demure for you, eh? Poor sods.
The day Lara Croft is demure, is the day I hang up my pickaxe!
Probably the kinda thing that'll be worth money in the future as they'll probably end up in a landfill when no one wants them
Barbie, showing every little girl that they can be anything they want, including a young archaeologist turned hardened killer.
Just bring me Shadow of the Tomb Raider please.
I would love it if it came with the first kill scene in the Tomb Raider reboot. Might get one for my daughter though, anything to get rid of the princess obsession.
This Barbie is super suspicious. I laughed so hard when I first saw it. They could have at least given her an expression. I was so affected by it I made a youtube movie. I wish they would just make her actual action figures more affordable instead.
