Yep, it's that time of the month again as Sony confirms what PlayStation games will be made available to PlayStation Plus subscribers. On PlayStation 4, you're getting open world adventure Mad Max and the potentially mental TrackMania: Turbo.
Meanwhile, PlayStation 3 users nab In Space We Brawl, and Toy Home. Yeah, we're not sure what they are either. Elsewhere, Vita owners get 99Vidas and Q*Bert Rebooted. The latter is also playable on PS4 and PS3 thanks to cross-buy.

Mad max was a sleeper , very very underrated game. Too bad i already platinumed it but i highly recommend it.
Whey! I'll reboot my plus account to give Mad Max a go. One of the few games I missed so a great give away. I kind of expect Shadow of Mordor in the desert, so I might not play it more than once, but I do love Mad Max so I cant not give it a go.
Oh, and..
Another very impressive month, Mad Max is tempting and I've been wanting Trackmania for ages!
Yeah, Mad Max is a decent game. But like Brasilkilla, I’ve already gone through it. I’ll give Trackmania another shot for it’s VR mode. The PS3 and Vita games aren’t really appealing to me.
Very nice, I think. One month that I'll try both PS4 offerings. Now, just to renew my PS Plus subscription...
TrackMania:Turbo was something I was really interested in at the time of launch. I think I only didn’t get it because of so much else I wanted. And to be honest I probably forgot about it a bit since then. So I’m pretty happy with this. May give mad max a go probably will check a few reviews first before starting as I like to complete games and get annoyed if they bore me and I still have to finish them. Which is totally my issue but still.
Winner!
Came close to buying Mad Max on disc.
Poor PS3 games. Mad Max is so so.
@gingerfrog Sammy and crew will put back up the reviews for these games later today. Edit: sorry, just saw the reviews are already up.
Wow, the quality of games has dropped drastically again...
Damn, another decent month, 2 games ive wanted to try for ages.
Happy with that
@ReanSchwarzer7 well to be honest when they give two of their best in a month, the next one will look poor no matter when they give.
A few of them I'm "interested" in, but none of them are even remotely high on my wishlist, plus between PS3 & Vita you're only getting around $40 worth of free content this time "assuming you don't already have some of the offerings"...
Not too shabby!!
Nice...I already have the 2 PS4 games, but they're a great month regardless.
Honestly, for maybe the 1st time in a while both GWG and Plus have a great month to their respective titles. Round of applause all around.
I haven't played a Q-Bert game in ages, need to try out that Vita game on my PS4. I'm sure it wont' look very good but I was so addicted to that game back in, well I can't even remember.
Still need to see the Mad Max film, I missed it on HBO awhile back. Game looks too brown for my liking.
After a little check, I think there are some mistakes on the PS Blog article about the cross-buy features of some games (namely 99vidas and In Space We Brawl).
Right now, here is the cross-buy situation of the list as per the PS Store (and I would very much doubt that they make special PS+ versions of the game on the store) :
Mad Max (PS4)
Trackmania Turbo (PS4 / PSVR)
In Space We Brawl (PS3 / PS4)
Toy Home (PS3)
99vidas (PS3 / PS4 / PSVita)
Q*Bert : Rebooted (PS3 / PS4 / PSVita) - this one is listed as "A Q*Bert: Rebooted Game and Pixels Theme Bundle"
Mad Max is so so good! Don't know why it got so average reviews and sold so badly...but just try it is a really fun game!
Also, Trackmania is very cool to me, I love Trackmania Nations back in the day and I was hoping this would come to plus!
Awesome month! Don't forget to give Mad Max a chance
Not bad I guess. I'll take Trackmania since I enjoyed the older ones on PC but I expected more of Mad Max. I'm not even sure now why I found it to be quite mediocre but I just remember it being a little tedious. The Arkham style combat was fun though.
Mad Max is a good game, I 100%ed on the Xbox One but for those attempting the same be warned as it can get quite repetitious, especially disarming the mines.
Video added.
No interest in the games added this month. So I'll hold off for now.
I can only really get excited for 99Vidas, looks like a fun brawler. Mad Max was very repetitive and the combat left a lot to be desired...overall a meh selection.
Should've had God of War Collection for either PS3 or vita to drum up excitement for the upcoming game. But nope, they keep getting stingy...so give us friggin' Q*bert and Toy Home -_-
Mad max is one of the most underrated games for the ps4 but I'm hammered it, if you haven't played it, it's well worth a go
@TheBraveFencer I think Sony would rather you forgot about the other GoWs when the new one comes out.
@ReanSchwarzer7 'only getting around $40 worth of free content this time'
How much free content will it take to get you off the grumpy step?
Mad Max is good. The plat is a big grind tho...
@TheBraveFencer The God of War games were pretty heavily discounted in a sale earlier this month, I believe. I feel similarly about the Tomb Raider games...I wish they were on sale now that there's a movie and new game announcement! Oh well...hopefully there's a NA Easter Sale this weekend...
The driving of Madmax is superb, The fighting is good but it can get repetitive after a while. Mission structure dont cary much... but overall I reaaaaallly enjoyed the game. I remember buying it the same day as Phantom Pain, and playing way more that the latter.
I wonder what the deal is with Sony and the developer of the Plus games is. Anyone minds to clarify this?
Mad Max. Nice.
Great month. Psplus is great value.
I'll add them all to my account as my sub is almost up I haven't got time to game right now so if a game comes up I may have to let it pass. But I've checked the review of mad Max sounds good but the tedious of progression that gets blocked would bore the hell out of me, so no thanks I like games like these that give you tasks and yeah a little block to move forward but not when it sounds like it will take longer than it should
Happy I never bought Mad Max. I wish 99 Vidas was cross play as well.
Nice! I almost bought Mad Max like half a dozen times.
I played the track mania beta on ps4 and it was really good and its a game that i always wanted to buy, but I just can't understand why it hasn't had the same(or some of the same) support the pc version has always had, it got released and then seemingly forgotten about and thats why I never did actually buy it, more than happy to play the hell out of it now its on ps plus though, the track editor is brilliant fun.
That's a lot of driving - an open world with emphasis on it, a Trackmania game (I've only played the DS version a bit, but it was an interesting title) and even a third-person view racer with a Micro-Machines-esque setting, not that it's accessible outside PS3. I'm bot much into Q-bert, but I'll check out 99vidas (a beat'em up based on a Brasilian retrogaming podcast? Is there AVGN the Game on Vita, too? XD) at leisure.
Agree with an earlier comment seems like sony has already pretty much given up a year early on providing anything of note for PS3
Mad Max is ok - for free... Didn't think it was worth buying on release so will happily add this to my library...
Awesome freaking sauce.
@Brasilkilla
is it an easy platinum ?
any multiplayer trophies?
Racing game, I called it! Lol. Never heard of it before though, but looks fun.
Mad Max is a great game, can get a little repetitive like most open world games, but alot of fun.
Nice!! Ive been pretty close to grabbing madmax when it was on sale.
Madmax was an excellent game.
Nice! This is solid as well! The PS3 and Vita offerings continue to disappoint, but I’m liking the two headliners!
@JohnnyShoulder I have three of the games though so for me it's $10.
@booglyboy111 yes it was fairly easy, a bit of grinding and collectibles though, and no mp trophies
Mad Max,Trackmania and Q-Bert...three games I have shown great interest in in the past..so pleased they will be next month's plus games!
Now it's just finding time to play them..
No VR game?! Knew that give away wouldn’t last long...
Good line-up that. I played Mad Max ages ago but it's a bit of a hidden gem. Releasing the same day as MGSV didn't do it many favours, but if you're a fan of the movies it's essential stuff. If you're not a fan, well it's still good.
Delighted with these. Particularly 99 Vidas as have wanted to try that for ages. Very much looking forward to trying Mad Max too
Glad to see Mad Max getting some love. I felt like I was the only one that liked it when it came out.
Q Bert Rebooted is a must for retro-gaming enthusiasts.
I will try TrackMania. Mad Max is really fun, a solid game that I really want a sequel.
Awesome lineup will try both games, very happy with plus games this month 👌👍😁
sweeeet
@rjejr
The Mad Max reboot movie was quite good. Give it a turn and I don't think you will be disappointed.
Another solid month? Delusional.
I love Mad Max and my game got misplaced or stolen so this is wonderful!!!
I'm looking forward to giving Mad Max a go, been curious about it for a while, i'm currently hooked on Bloodborne and have been since the day it came to PS + i've loved it, nearing the end now so should have it done just in time for when Mad Max arrives, i'm really happy with the free games we've had this year so far
@hadlee73 It is one of my fav game this gen, sadly under rated.
Good to see all the +ve comments but I am gonna take a pass on Mad Max. I already tried it on PC and its a Huuuggge GRIND. Takes a lot of time to travel and upgrade vehicles or weapons. No doubt the environment is really immersive and visually awesome but huge open world and grinding requires lot of your time. It would have been OK if it was more fun.
Mad Max is a great underestimated game that flew under the radar. If you love open world games then this game is a must for you!! I've completed it twice so far and every so often I feel the need to go back to the Wastelands. Love it!!!
Mad Max is possibly the pinnacle of tedious open world games.
Will give Mad Max a go. Just a bit worried tho when it will be just 2 PS4 Free games next year and nothing else :-/ Hopefully SONY could give us 2 free PS NOW Games(so 2 PS3 games)each month for Free to which would be cool.
Nice, I want to try both games.
Sweet!!!
Mad max was alot better then i expected back then. Little bit of a grind but entertaining. Anyone know if it recieved any ps4 pro updating since it released?
@McGuit Thanks, I think I'll like it, though I wasn't a huge fan of Thunderdome, just haven't come across it. That's how I watch most of my movies, whatever pops up on Amazon Prime, Netflix or HBO, I rarely go out looking for anything these days. Had it on my HBO list but it disappeared, HBO is quick to drop stuff.
Well I've been in the mood for a racing game recently, do Trackmania is welcome. Not particularly fussed about a generic open world game regardless of the Mad Max theme, but it could still be fun.
