Dark Souls Remastered is heading to PS4 on 25th May, as we know, but FromSoftware announced yesterday that it will be holding a network test ahead of launch.
There are currently no details about the test, but we'd imagine it'll take place next month, probably over the course of a weekend. We also don't know whether the network test will be available to all or will be run on an invite-only basis. Judging by the wording in the above tweet, we think it'll be an open test, but best not to assume anything just yet. We'll of course keep you updated as new details emerge.
Will you be looking to take part in the Dark Souls Remastered network test? Perhaps Bloodborne lately has grown your interest in FromSoftware's RPGs? Praise the Sun in the comments below.

Awesome news. Really struggling to decide between Switch and PS4 for this and now I can hopefully try both out ahead of release!
YES!!!! Can't wait for this. Easily my most anticipated game this year.
My boys are finally old enough to play dark souls and they have wanted to for a long time. Such perfect timing for this game to come out. (would love a demon souls port but I wont hold my breath)
Will definately be joining the test
Where do I sign up?!?!
I already play mine at 60fps on PC. We'll see how this goes.
@Grim-Tuesday This isn't just about making it playable at 60fps without the various framerate bugs in the PC version, this is a remake from the ground up. The "Remastered" in the title is poorly used since a remaster is normally just the same exact thing with a better image quality (in films as well as games) but this is actually a remake. Plus, on a basic mechanical level, you'll be able to roll in more than 4 directions which is nice since that's one of the main things that makes DS1 feel so clunky when you go back to it. Obviously, that's not the only difference, just one worth noting.
@Matroska Ah, didn't know. I thought it was just a remaster.
@Matroska I had no idea. Definitely gonna keep an eye out now. I was already planning to get it eventually, but I may get it day one.
Props to FromSoftware for putting in effort to make even remakes of old games higher quality..
DS1 has always been my favorite in the series, I'm happy to see it being ported properly.
