Tera, the popular action-heavy MMO role-playing game from developer Bluehole, is now available to download from the PlayStation Store on PlayStation 4. The title's main selling point is that it features full action-based combat, complete with combos and flashy visual effects. It's also free-to-play.
Anyway, if you want to give it a try, all you have to do is hit up the store. The game should appear under the 'free' section, but if you can't find it, you may have to track it down it manually using the search bar function.
Tera weighs in at a rather large 45GB, so you might also have to make room on your system's hard drive. Will you be giving it a shot over the weekend? Mash some buttons in the comments section below.

I wouldn't rush to DL it...massive server issue's so far...
@teknium_ Should have known.
Expected really I suppose, but you would think that they would have had the servers better prepared...seems like people in usa are getting into char creation now, so fingers crossed
Is the game any good? (Forget the server issues)
Quick update...apparently xbox version is working fine in uk, its been a specific ps4 problem, people have logging in on ps4 but only sporadically, the issue is being worked on and should be sorted quite quickly...
Is it a beta or the full game?
Not many games these days do not have teathing problems, plus its free to play so can not be too many complaints.
3 hours later...still working on the ps4 log in issue, hope to resolve it soon
When I read “free-to-play” my mind automatically substitutes “microtransaction ridden”. That or “really boring and lacking in quality or polished gameplay”
Yes, it sounds prejudiced and elistist. I need to retrain my brain I suppose.
LOL, first thing is I somehow didn't notice the word Beta, so thought it was the full game. Then, when I played it I got such bad motion sickness within 5 minutes I had to stop. Oh well...we learn and move on. Not for me this one.
Tried it out on PS4 Pro in the UK a few hours ago. Playable, but it seems server issues(?) made it unenjoyable. Menus unresponsive, textures failing to load, hard to tell if the gameplay was working as intended or affected by lag. Might look at it again a few weeks after its official launch. Probably won't.
@shogunrok played the second Tera beta this past weekend and they have done a brilliant job in the space of a week, the second beta was only open to people that played the first one but during my time playing I didn't have a single disconnect or freeze even in the first big city you go to(which was the one of the main problem areas in first beta) one thing I did notice is that outside the first city its very empty with flat bland textures and at the airship landing(not in use) there were just rows and rows of the same NPC guards just used as a bit of filler, so its either an early version of the game or the full console release isnt going to be for a while yet
@teknium_ Interesting... Thanks for letting me know! Hopefully we get a release date soonish.
