Following up an insanely strong January, February was never going to have it easy. The second month of 2018 may not have reached the same heights as its predecessor, but it was still a decent 28 days for PlayStation -- especially if you're a PlayStation VR owner, apparently.
Bronze Trophy: Kingdom Come: Deliverance
Bugs and loading times aside, Kingdom Come: Deliverance is one of the more intriguing role-playing releases that we've played in a long time. Plopped into the shoes of Henry, a rather dimwitted peasant, you're thrust into an open world full of medieval woes. Gameplay grounded in historical realism replaces typical fantasy elements that the genre is known for, with guides editor Glen Fox giving this one a good 7/10 in our review.

Silver Trophy: Sprint Vector
Ever just wanted to... Run? Well now you can, kind of, all from the comfort of your own home. Sprint Vector provides a rush that very few other VR games offer. Reviewer Liam Croft awarded the title an impressive 9/10, writing, "the unparalleled sense of speed created by your Stride is one of the greatest feelings in virtual reality". Liam concluded, "There’s nothing else quite like Sprint Vector in virtual reality right now, and so this is one you absolutely need to experience for yourself."

Gold Trophy: Moss
A game that's always looked like a promising slice of VR entertainment, Moss lived up to expectations, securing a good portion of our staff vote. Editor Sammy Barker reviewed this one, his only criticism being that it's a little on the short side. "Moss is sublime throughout, but it’s so good that you’ll wish there was more of it. Much more of it," he wrote, giving the game a 7/10. Still, despite that one shortcoming, Sammy concluded, "there's no doubt that Polyarc's built the foundations for something truly special here."

Platinum Trophy: Shadow of the Colossus
Well, what else was it going to be? A timely reminder that Shadow of the Colossus really is a very, very special game, this full PS4 remake stirred our emotions all over again. Sammy was never going to let anyone else review this one, awarding it an outstanding 10/10.
"One of the greatest games ever made resurrected in one of the greatest remakes of all time," Sammy wrote. "Shadow of the Colossus remains faithful to the 2006 original, but its presentation is on par with the very best that the PS4 has to offer. A masterpiece." What more could you want from our Game of the Month?

How we decide our Game of the Month: At the end of each month, the editorial team put together a list of nominees. Nominees must have been released within the month, and they must have been reviewed by Push Square. We select nominees based on our own review scores.
The editorial team then presents this list of nominees to the rest of the Push Square staff. Staff are asked to vote for three games that they think deserve to be crowned Game of the Month. First choice gets 3 points, second choice gets 2 points, and third choice gets 1 point. When voting closes, we tally the results to determine the order of this article. The game with the most points is our Game of the Month.

Quietly great month for PlayStation VR. Nice to see.
@get2sammyb yeah i'm sure you love "Moss" a lot.
@Retro88 I do, as it happens!
@NintendoFan4Lyf It's a really good remake, but it's still the same game. Depends whether you fancy playing it again with beautiful new graphics or not.
Shadow of The Collosus...& Crossing Souls for me!
Sprint Vector wasn’t for me & I haven’t started Moss yet.
@get2sammyb it is good game but camera is so annoying as hell
shadow of the colossus for me - i hadn't played past colossus 4 on the ps3 version, so most of it was new for me. despite quite a bit of frustration with the final colossus, overall i thought it was excellent - and one of the all time great game soundtracks. overall presentation was superb in fact.
Shadow of the Colossus for sure. Splendid game and a great remake.
SOTC is great but I got it more out of obligation than anything else. I've beaten 5-6 but I'm not in a big rush to finish it off. It's just a bit too easy once you know how to beat em.
Crossing Souls takes the crown for February for me.
Shadow of the collosus was my surprise hit. Beat it three times now.
'Gravel' for me. It's like Sega Rally meets Baja Edge of Control. Playing the game I realize just how much I've been missing more arcade-like racing games. I hope the upcoming Dakar 2018 game will be just as fun.
I enjoyed Shadow of the Colossus , The Seven Deadly Sins, Sword Art Online: Fatal Bullet, and Secret of Mana as well though. It's quite odd to compare different genres in this way, it's not as if Secret of Mana will satisfy my hunger for racing.
Shadow of the Colossus was the best in a relatively slow month. Have to admit, I'm not as enamored with it as others, which is disappointing. I think I'm just used to the more 'busy' open world games these days, SotC's world felt kind of bland and lifeless and while the puzzle solving was enjoyable it just became too repetitive.
I've not bought any games this month (been busy with Monster Hunter World and backlog), but I would really like to buy Shadow of the Colossus eventually.
@Gamer83 I'd counter that it's meant to be empty. Like, that's the whole point.
Shadow of the Colossus is a classic, one of the best games ever made without a doubt.
Shadow of the colossus is an absolute classic and a fantastic remake and definitely would of got my vote if Moss hadn't of been there...as it is,Moss is the game I'm playing the most and one of the best VR games so far so Quill deserves the vote
This would only seem like a slow month if you don't have PSVR. As someone who has PSVR this month is fantastic. I have (Moss) or want to get all 4 of these games and that is a rare month. In fact, I am about to start Moss right now.
@get2sammyb
Yeah, I get that, it just isn't my kind of game. Was hoping to enjoy it more than I did.
What? No Metal Gear Survive???
