Narrative Adventure The First Tree Sure Looks Foxy

Narrative-driven indie hit The First Tree will search for its cubs on the PlayStation 4, creator David Wehle has announced. A kind of wildlife-themed adventure, the story tells the tale of two connected entities: a fox looking for its offspring and a son reconnecting with his estranged father in Alaska. You probably won’t need an English Literature degree to see how they link.

At just 90 minutes in length, this is more focused on the tale that it’s got to tell rather than any specific gameplay mechanics, though you can expect light puzzle solving alongside some platforming. Port specialist DO Games has been recruited to polish up the PS4 version, which should release later this year all being well.
