Whether you celebrate it or not, we hope that you have lots of chocolate in store for this long Easter weekend. Here at Push Square Towers, we’ll be scoffing liberal amounts of Hot Cross Buns and sipping sweet tea. But what will we be playing? Here’s your weekly WAYP.

I’m having a blast with MLB The Show 18, so I’ll be continuing to collect cards in the hopes of creating the ultimate Diamond Dynasty team.

It's taken a whole week but I'm finally close to finishing off most of the optional stuff in Ni no Kuni II. Once that's done, it's back to Monster Hunter: World – a game that I've been starved of over the last month or so due to review duty. I can't wait to dive back in and get grinding all over again.
Stephen Tailby, Senior Staff Writer
I won’t have a huge amount of time for gaming this weekend, so the fact I’m reviewing Minit works out quite well. A game played 60 seconds at a time fits nicely into my relatively busy Easter weekend. Expect a review early next week.

I’m powering my way through Far Cry 5 this weekend and it has me well and truly hooked. A Way Out still remains on my to-play list for the time being, but I’m having way too much fun with Far Cry 5 I can’t see myself dabbling with anything else just yet. Does anyone else have a tendency to rush through side missions? It's something I want to abate!
Graham Banas, Reviewer
Some Rainbow Six. Some Warframe. Maybe even some VR. I've been stockpiling a bunch of VR stuff and WipEout might be the thing that pushes me over the edge. And I've got to fit seeing Ready Player One around all that too. Sure I didn't like the book, but I need to know about the movie.

It’s mostly Ni no Kuni II: Revenant Kingdom for me over this extended weekend as I attempt to effectively build Evan’s utopian kingdom. I’m thinking he’s a little Alexander the Great in chibi form. I also wantonly purchased Star Wars Battlefront II in the EA sale, convinced that it may somehow be a decent game now the balance-breaking micro-transactions have been removed. We’ll see.

With the holiday upon us that means family time. So this holiday weekend the family and I will be playing some Mutant Football League and Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, while we are on a sugar high.
What will you be cracking on with this weekend? Are you planning to eat any Easter Eggs over the course of it? Hop into the comments section below.

Happy Easter everyone!
Ni No Kuni 2 for me! I'm 30 hours and really enjoying it to be honest. I'm doing things pretty slowly, I'm not sure how much story I have left but it feels like a fair amount. @ShogunRok how many hours have you put into it for 100% then? I expect things to be quite grindy if you're playing it to completion (not sure I will) but generally has it been fun with a few surprises?
I also noticed the first episode of the Sonic Mania shorts is out, it's worth a watch if you're a Sonic fan. And who isn't, right?

A mix of games. Some racing with TT Isle of Man, Gravel, and GT Sport. Some Ni no Kuni 2 and Monster Hunter World.
However, I'm also in the mood for some American Truck Simulator and Euro Truck Simulator 2, so I might pick that up where I left off.
PS4 - MLB The Show 18, Rise of the Tomb Raider, Burnout Paradise Remastered. Burnout Paradise is much better than I expected given some people had told me 'it's not really Burnout.' I kind of see that given how Burnout was never really open-ended but the events I've done so far and the way the takedowns are done feels exactly like what I expect from the series.
On Switch I'm still doing replays of the Bayonetta games to improve my scores and just because the games are awesome, the pinnacle of hack and slash, imo.
Been playing a ton of Far Cry 5 over the past couple of days so it's time to pop Ni no Kuni 2 back in and see how my kingdom is doing.
Between those 2 my time is pretty much accounted for but since I also got early access to Tera (yay for Twitch Prime) I might log on for a bit and continue leveling my character.
A way out. It's amazing
Far Cry 5 for me. Really enjoying it.
Ni No Kuni 2! I'm on Chapter 5 now and enjoying it immensely. The script is hilarious! The story doesn't have the depth of the first one (at least so far) but everything else is a big improvement.
Might play odds and ends of Breath of the Wild if I get a chance!
Ever late to the party, I'm actually playing Far Cry 4. I'm enjoying it so far but still can't shake the feeling I wish it was a 3rd player game (just my preference). I struggle a bit with the fast motion of FPS games but I'm still liking my time in Kyrat.
PS4- Monster Hunter World, Street Fighter V, Tekken 7, WWE 2K18. After just having the game for many months, I started Persona 5. I’m only at the beginning, but I like it so far. For Switch- Bayonetta, ARMS, Mario Kart 8, and quite a few Neo Geo games. I’m on vacation from work starting today, whoop. Happy Easter everybody and go easy on those pranks for April Fools Day. Lol
I'm back home from uni, so am going to finish off Persona 5! I thought I got to the end last night with an excellent boss battle and great music, but now all the characters are studying for finals and it seems like there's going to be even more. I'm absolutely adoring it, but I reckon I MUST be approaching the end now!
Far Cry 5 for me this weekend....
Bloodborne. It’s in my every waking thought and invading my dreams.
I may eventually have to take a break a play something more light hearted though. We’ll see. Maybe Rime? Or Abzu? I don’t know.
@kyleforrester87 I'm not going full 100% because I quite frankly can't be arsed, but I'm working on the stuff that I actually enjoy doing like the tainted monsters and the Dreamer's Mazes. I think I've clocked about 60-65 hours or so.
I've really enjoyed my time with it overall, although I will say that at this point I'm looking forward to getting it finished off. It's just starting to overstay its welcome. But at 65 hours you can't really complain.
The Evil Within 2. Maybe I will start Ni no Kuni 2, but I believe that The Evil Within 2 will make me busy enough. Happy Easter for you all.
It's not a meme, it's a way of life. #wordupson
@ShogunRok cool - wondering what the DLC will add, or if I'm over the game by the time it drops.
The header image is adorable.
I'm going to tackle the Ex-Dungeons in World of Final Fantasy.
Then I'll try my hand at completing the coliseum. I'm having a ton of fun with the game.
Still playing uc lost legacy, I'm enjoying the linear levels more than the open one, open level is exhausting, it's cool in uncharted 4, but I just want to see where the story is going.
Along with scrumptious chocolate eggs I'll be scoffing on a bit of GTA Online with a fat dollop of Pillars of Eternity and a sprinkling of Dragon Quest VIII. Mmmm.
Oh and Mo Salah is an Egyptian king.
I've successfully held off on buying Ni no Kuni 2 in order to finish up my Co-op far cry 5 run. Most likely going to work on 100% hollow knight run, maybe some Celeste as well.
Currently working on Crash 2 in the N.Sane Trilogy since I completed the first one %100. Feverishly awaiting God of War.
PS4: Ni No Kuni 2
PSVR: WipEout Omega Collection
PSVita: Persona 4 Dancing All Night
I need to get on with NNK2. I'm 10 hours in and still at chapter 2. Just running around grinding.
Want to make some headway on P4 DAN as well. That game is so good!
I would also like to make some time for WipEoutVR, but who knows? Depends if family swing around or not.
@kyleforrester87 22 hours and counting and loving every minute! Love games like this.
@ShogunRok 65 hours for 50 quid is a darn right bargain in this day and age. I seem to remember paying 75 quid to watch Sheffield United once for 90 mins in a play-off final. Yeah...that wasn't good value for money
Happy Easter guys!
Well I would play Far Cry 5 if I could even ride a bike or fly a plane without the game breaking to load lol
So I guess I'll play Ni No Kuni II
@ApostateMage How's Pillars? Been tempted to pick it up and give it a go/
I am away a bit so God Of War collection on Vita and then continue my Plat run on Ratchet and Clank.
As for Kratos. Angry, angry young man.
It's a busy long Easter weekend of gaming! I am/will be playing Ni no Kuni 2, Tesla vs Lovecraft, Far Cry 5 (when I'm not rage-quitting it!), FIFA 18, and last but not least AC Origins, which I'm still playing 5 months after release! (mostly thanks to the expansions, especially Curse of the Pharaohs). Happy Easter all
I will finish A way out, play a bit of Far Cry 5 , Tera ( thank you twich prime!) and I hope to rise me SR at Overwatch.
Monster Hunter... still! I've booted up the RV Wipeout and loved it. Not enough to pull me away from the monsters, though!
@General_Spiller It's really good mate, a proper old school RPG with tactical combat (similar to DA Origins I thought) which can be pretty tough. It's got some great writing and the story is really interesting so far. Well worth the £15 in the store sale.
@ApostateMage Thanks for the advice. Loved DA Origins so sounds like this might be a good fit with my tastes. Looks good but always better to hear from others than just watching YouTube vids. Many thanks!
Far Cry 5 for me. Not a huge fan of the series but I'm really enjoying slaughtering wave after wave of nutters in a truck covered in guns, with music playing. YEEE HAW!!!!
Windows Phone:
Angry Birds Star Wars
Make It Rain: The Love of Money
Dragon Mania Legends
Finishing off Assassins Creed Chronicles and then moving onto either Sleeping Dogs or Rise of the Tomb Raider, have a good weekend everybody, don’t eat too much chocolate.
I'm still playing Horizon: Zero Dawn, completed The City of the Sun and The Field of the Fallen.
Hoping to complete the story by Tuesday night, I took today off so I have four days to make this happen !
Bloodborne is still going in my household as I just can't stop playing it no matter how many times i die!Never thought I'd enjoy a game like this as much as I do.
Also just reached chapter 6 in Danganronpa V3 so I'm right at the end i think..which makes me sad cuz this game is so fantastically bonkers good!
Bayanetta 2 may get started this weekend as I have finished my Telltale Batman season 2 playthrough..which I have to say, this must be one of Telltales best..cuz I absolutely loved it.
Last year I only received one Easter Egg so thinking this year I would get none,I popped into the shop after work and bought myself two...both of which I will no doubt scoff in one evening.
Happy Easter all!
Playing BioShock infinite, really enjoying the change in setting so far!! Away to school my niece at rocket league too
Just finished Ratchet and Clank so now I decided to take advantage of the PlayStation sale and get Metal Gear Solid 5 for a tenner, the game is excellent so far. I have found myself addicted.
Happy Easter!
I don't have off of work this weekend at all, but I'll be playing Overwatch, Persona 5, and Breath of the Wild. Great line-up to be playing.
Carrying on with The Lost Legacy and also playing Child Of Light, which I put on the other day because I had twenty minutes to kill before I had to go to work. Haven't stopped playing it since.
Far cry 5. The most fun I've had with a game since horizon zero Dawn.
I'm going places this weekend, so my gaming options are limited. Played some Etrian Odyssey V earlier and reached the end of the labyrinth. However, I forgot my 3DS charger, so might have to do some reading later instead of gaming.
Should be able to play some Hatsune Miku Future Tone when I get back late Sunday.
backlog wolfenstein new order tour de france 2017 and my daily fix of metal gear survive far cry will after wait
We don't celebrate Easter here, we have Semana Santa (Holy Week) with lots of religious stuff.
I will be playing KH2 which is quite good, and surviving the relentless DJ Max Respect demo. If I get good enough I will get the full game.
Happy Easter for you guys.
Still got my hands tied up with Persona 5 😄word up!
Currently playing through Fable III - wasn't 100% what to make of it at first what with the comedy/fugly characters & slightly weird combat system, but it has won me over with it's charm as I fast approach the endgame.
I feel like a gaming fraud atm. Hardly any game time with Business stuff and Easter.
Im hoping I grab a couple of hours on Kiwami tonight and a bit further on Odin Sphere tomorrow.
Getting into Bloodborne again. I never did finish it the first time around. I'm also playing MLB the Show. I just started a franchise with my Brewers and I'm 2-0 just like RL .
I’m gonna play Sleep Simulator Irl! It’s a hard game tho
For some reason, I'm suddenly all about fighting games (for the first time in...20 years? LMAO). King of Fighters XIV is my jam, but since I'm out and about so much, I'm squeezing in the King of Fighters Collection on my trusty ol' PSP 1000 (since it won't work on Vita).
Speaking of the PSP 1000...I had to literally superglue a quarter to the D-Pad to get it to read diagonals (it's a known fix I read about online). I had even bought a plastic cover on eBat that Capcom released in Japan only years ago, but that didn't help ANYWHERE near as much as the freakin' quarter, haha. Works like a charm tho.
Anyone else ever have to do that!?
Sorry but discussion of sites like that is not allowed here I am afraid as per the community rules. Thanks for understanding -Tasuki-
Oh, and I also have Detective Pikachu, but that's a nighttime kinda game IMHO (as gritty and brutal as it is).
Currently juggling Far Cry 5 on the XB1X and Ni No Kuni 2 on the Pro. Expect to hang with these until God of War, maybe some short bursts games on the Switch but time is limited so we'll see..
Ni No Kuni 2, some Warframe and either mop up a few trophies in Oxenfree for the platinum or play through Virginia.
Ps2 classic physhonauts word up son
@Retro88 hahaha classic rpg game.word up s on
@wiiware
I actually enjoyed that Western Ghats chapter, mainly because Naughty Dog set it up perfectly. You could blast though it if you wanted to or you could spend your time exploring. I liked checking out the different areas of that map.
@Jaz007
Did you get a Switch or are playing Zelda on the Wii U?
@Gamer83 I got a Switch for BotW.
Happy Easter guys. As for me, I just platinum'd Heavy Rain. I'm going back to finish up Arkham Asylum. Currently at 68% trophy completion.
Tera, Smite, Madden 18, and some vr titles.
thought i'd play episode 5 of batman enemy within to finish it off, only to find i can't. the game freezes at the same spot at the very beginning of the episode where you have to keep out of sight going from car to car. it totally locks up my PS4, i can't even close out of the game - and using the controller to switch off the PS4 gives the white blinking light for 10 minutes. telltale's engine is a pile of sh*t, but this is a new low.. never am i buying another one of their games. this is the second game of theirs i've been unable to finish because it either locks up or bugs out.
@PS_Nation happy easter playa.evil within i love this franchises.pretty sure thers a 3 coming.word up son
After giving it a new try last week i finaly understand the love for bloodborne..omg the game is amazing and slowly im moving trough the story loving it every step..i need to finnish it so i can go back to playing ff12 zodiac..and then i still need to buy ni no kuni2 and fc5 😂
Mainly been busy at Insomnia 62 to have played anything recently, but I'd say mostly WRC 7 to get the platinum and Tokyo Xanadu eX+ to also platinum.
Btw, if anyone has played Ni No Kuni II, is it worth playing it despite hearing that its "too easy"? I love playing action RPGs like Ys Memories of Celceta and from what I saw about NNKII it looks like a game up my alley but I'm worried that its not got any challenging elements to it, even to a small degree.
@Gamer83 How can I blast the level if the games gave me 11 coin to collect, the coins icon on the map just calling me to collect them lol.
I have fun playing it, its just I have more fun playing the linear levels
Mostly Lode Runner Legacy on Switch. So much fun, especially the classic levels from 1983. Working my way through the Driveclub championship DLC packs, as well. Also getting some time in with Everybody's Golf, Rank 4 at the moment.
Playing Doom after almost 2 years since I last played it! I was stuck on a boss and I've now since defeated it! Huzzah!
A Way Out. I can't say enough nice things about it. My friend picked this up for £25 and I was able to play the whole game with him online with the full game trial for free, though in retrospect, I'd be more than happy to play it for that amount. Everything about it is fantastic, the co-op elements throughout never feel stale, and they are always throwing fun little things in there to do throughout, which I won't spoil.
The story itself is brilliant as well. Only took us about 5/6 hours to complete for one playthrough but we plan on going back and changing our options to see how it effects the story.
Seriously worth it for anyone on the fence.
