I love the fact that Ellie beat Blazkowicz. That is a game I would play.

I remember when Jill Vs Kat was seemingly locked in at 53% to 47%. Kat got a big influx of votes in the last two days of that round!

Not that I'm complaining or anything, I want Kat to win this.

@ApostateMage Well, I'm still gonna vote for Spyro. He's the underdog, I played his games some when I was a kid, and I've never played Witcher. But Geralt will win, I'm pretty sure.

Drake, Nariko, Ellie, Dante nothing personal against Crash but was playing other things then these games and i played all the Devil May Cry games as much as i like Sephiroth i just loved Nariko im still hoping for a new game for ages. 😁

Come on everyone, Neo Cortex has been a PS icon for more than 2 decades. Ellie was in one game a few years ago. Playstation maybe never even gets off the ground without Crash and Neo. The voting should at least be close and instead he is getting routed. Pushsquare readers hate the early days of Playstation is what these polls are teaching me.

@Ackbar7 which one? (I respect everyone with different opinions, the characters are getting pretty popular so it's only normal)

@doctommaso I don't want to start a war, in fact I'm happy we prefer different things But I do think Joel has WAY more depth than Lara! You can even argue Joel is a villain...and I love the character!
I do like Lara a lot too but if I had to pick...know what I mean?

@AFCC You make a fair point, but I don't think depth of character is a major issue for most people. I mean, we have Crash Bandicoot, as an example. To me, liking a character is more about liking the game the character represents, and the original Tomb Raider games were not only some of the best games of the time but also genre-defining and helped solidify PS1 as a massive success. The HD remakes by Crystal Dyamics were also stellar, and the new ones are quite good, if not great. While The Last of Us has a great story and character development, if you look at the gameplay objectively, it really isn't that great. Lara is also a long-standing successful character, rather than a one-off like Joel; one could argue that Joel wasn't even the true protagonist of The Last of Us. Again, though, to each his own.

@AFCC Kratos is the one I liked last week that adcanced. I value longevity more than most of the people voting. Probably because I'm 38.

Another easy win for Ellie V.s Neo Cortex. Seriously, i dunno how that guy even made it this far in the contest!!

And Crash Bandicoot V.s Dante (and all his badassery)

Ugh, I was a little torn, as the kid in me wanted to vote for my cherished childhood gaming pal Crash, but seriously Dante is a better and stronger character on all levels. If everyone thought outside their nostalgia box, they would realize this!!! Great week!!

Nariko my girl.... Sad not many people probably played your awesome game.... If Heavenly Sword had been played by everyone who voted I imagine this would be a lot closer than it is now...

@Splints Nariko was so awsome they should really remaster/remake the game and sell it at €/$ 30. The ending was fantastic and so sad. This game deserves a second part. 😁

BTW if you like great story try Valkyria Chronicles totally different genre (strategy) its style and story is fantastic and you can get it at a steal.

@Splints It really is a shame, because there are some really great games, movies and other media that people haven't tried, which they may like, but haven't had a go due to not knowing, misrepresentation or others conflicting tastes. Some entertainment content maybe rated lower as well, because of people that haven't actually consumed it, but are going off what they know or like in regards to it. These polls are very much like that, because if you had a tournament with just people that had played every single game here, it would probably have a very low poll count.

I know what you mean, I feel the same about Gravity Rush.

@doctommaso yap! I've been thinking about TLoU gameplay lately and that is why I think God of War is way better overall!
And yes I also agree that most people come here and vote for the character they recognize more or like more and are not thinking about it too much!

Will do. I have heard tons about the game, just never did get a chance to play it. However, even after I found out more about her, there's a 1% chance of her being being better than Sephiroth in my eyes. But I appreciate the comment tho.
