The sun is shining, the weather is sweet, yeah. Makes us want to… Shut the curtains and play video games? That is how the ol’ Bob Marley song goes, right? Anyway, you know what time it is – it’s WAYP time.

I’m still playing God of War, a game which still holds many secrets for me to discover. You’ve all (hopefully) read my review by now, but this truly is a remarkable release. I hope you all love it as much as I do.

At long last I've beaten all the elder dragons in Monster Hunter: World (with the help of Push Square user Splat, I might add), and now I have to bring myself to beat them all over again so I can complete their armour sets. If I get the urge to smash my controller off the nearest wall, I'm jumping to The Elder Scrolls Online instead as I prepare for this summer's expansion.

If all goes to plan this weekend I should be watching the opening cutscene of Yakuza 6: The Song of Life sometime on Saturday. Based on previous Yakuza games that’ll mean it’ll probably be Sunday before I actually get to punch someone in the face, but even with this inevitable delay, I’m really looking forward to my annual journey into the machismo drenched Yakuza universe.

End of semester deadlines means having to sever all ties with video games for the time being! That even means waiting an extra week or so until I can play God of War, which just kills me to admit. Sammy’s review has me super stoked, though, and I have no doubt it’ll be worth the wait. Given my said history of rushing through games, maybe it’s for the best? (Not really, but it feels good to say it.)

Salivating at the prospect of a new Kratos adventure, I'll be finishing the God Of War III playthrough I started months ago.

After reaching the disappointing conclusion of Far Cry 5 a few days ago, I'm just biding my time until God of War comes out. So, I will probably jump back into Batman: The Enemy Within to wrap that up and continue playing City of Brass for review. Nothing major while I wait for the big hitter to come out.

This weekend with the awesome new changes to Call of Duty: WWII I decided to storm the beaches of Normandy once again. I will also be continuing my travels through the land of Skyrim as well.
What will you be playing to keep you occupied until God of War arrives next week? Let us know your itinerary in the comments section below.

Continue playing Jak X. Really glad the game was released on PS4 since it's the only Jak game I never played growing up.
If the world doesn't end, I will be kicking off a God of War 3 playthrough, hopefully finally completing Doom on Switch and maybe doing Doom VFR which I started the stopped last year.
60+ hours into Pillars of Eternity, carrying on with that and some Destiny 2.
Still at it with Persona 5. I need to put in some time for Monster Hunter and Street Fighter V as well.
I'm smashing Ghost Recon:Wildlands while it's free this weekend. Don't judge me but I'm quite enjoying it. Oorah!
Clearing out my backlog a little as I don't wan't to start anything major prior to Yakuza 6 and God of War.
Should beat RiME today- which has been pretty good so far and I might start up Nex Machina. On Vita I'll be continuing Final Fantasy VI.
This weekend I am continuing my play through of Metal Gear Solid 5, thanks to the current flash sale I have managed to snag Darkest Dungeon and the Last of Us remastered as well so I look forward to playing those.
Ni no Kuni 2. And I can't wait for God of War to arrive.
PS4 - MLB The Show 18
Switch - Bayonetta 1+2
@Bad-MuthaAdebisi I restarted again as a cypher. I'm really enjoying this class. Me and Grieving Mother literally dominate the field.
I'm playing through God of War 3. Still just as great as it was eight years ago.
Started playing 'The Adventure Pals' with my daughter last night and it is absolutely brilliant fun.
Also looking to wrap up Farcry 5, I have completed everything in 2 of the regions so will be working through the final region next. I'll also be mixing in a little MarioKart8 here and there too.
I suppose I have another week or two of Bloodborne in me, or maybe I’ll get around to trying to finish Abzu and work on Persona 5 again. Actually I don’t know. Sometimes I just sit down and start playing something randomly.
Playing horizon zero dawn full time. Man this game is beautifull, I rarely use photo mode but for this game I can't get enough of it
The plot really move forward after The Proving, I want to see where is it going. Also upgrading skill/pouch and hunting the machine for part is fun.
@wiiware now you're making me want to play it again.
FFS stop teasing me with YAKUZA 6! The pre order unlocks tuesday only -.-
@wiiware
I thought Horizon actually got pretty predictable (story wise) the more it went along but the journey to get there was still awesome. And once you get to the Frozen Wilds... Fantastic stuff.
Being away from home for a few days, it’s Switch time for me, playing LA Noire and maybe other games, who knows...
The real challenge will be to resist buying Yakuza 6 and God of War when I return...
I’m not really to sure. I’ve been reading comments to find inspiration but nothing comes to mind. I’ll probably turn the PS4 on and scroll through games in the hope something will jump out. Luckily I’ve got a large external hard drive so all 120 odd games are installed and ready to play, so there’s no hastle if I pick some random ps plus game from yesteryear, it’ll all be up to date and ready to go.
Playing lots of the GTA4 Lost and Damned. It's rumoured that GTA4 and it's expansions could lose a lot of songs in a week or two once licenses expire, so I'm trying to race through the two expansions before that happens.
My week off work is coming to an end and I still feel as though I haven't got anywhere gaming wise. And I'm so annoyed I'm back to work the week God Of War releases!
Anyway,I'm 15 hours into Okami Hd and absolutely loving it.such a beautiful game.
I have also gone back to Resident Evil VII which I left months ago due to being too scared lol but I'm still scared but I'm pushing through it and trying to man up
Bayanetta 2 is also getting some playtime.God I hate the whole cast of characters,so cheesy and annoying but the gameplay is excellent!
@ApostateMage still punching everything as a monk, not long after grieving mother joined my party I sacrificed her to the blood pool thing lol
I'm still playing Persona 5. Wow man, what a game!
Kinda envy Sammy, tho it's coming out next week
KH2. I need to finish it before GoW hits.
I think DLC characters for King of Fighters 14 hit not to long ago. I should make time for that as well.
Going to idle with a couple of small or games in short burst games until....God of War..
Bloodborne, and maybe some Splatoon 2 and Mario Kart 8 Deluxe on the side.
Shining Force for Genesis, F-Zero for SNES, and C&C3 for 360.
I'll mostly be playing Far Cry 5 & Ni No Kuni II, with FIFA 18 & WRC 7 as palette cleansers. These games are really just to whittle the time away until God of War arrives!
I finally got moved and hooked my ps pro up to my 4k tv for the first time last night. Good timing on the latest Witcher 3 update, and I must say it looks great.
Took me a minute to figure out how to get the tv to work in 4k, had to hook PS4 to HDMI slot 2. I found that kind of weird.
Besides finishing my second of Far Cry 5s 3 regions I don't really know. I keep booting stuff up only to get bored and move onto something else. Don't really feel like playing FC5 either but I'm only doing it to tie up loose ends in the region before I get too burned out on it.
Yakuza 6 which turned up today as well as ni no 2 and xenoblade 2 on the switch. As others have said the world better not end before i play god of war.
Getting ready to start an overpowered God of war 3 new game plus run after having powered through the first two this week! Might work on Celeste if i get GoW3 done.
@Gamer83 I though it will be happy go lucky story like monhun world and uncharted, but it got dark in "the proving", it make me want to know about the enemy and the reason for why they're doing it. I don't have problem if there's no human enemy either though, man vs machine is interesting story enough.
@Enuo Lol, I bought the special edition (steelcase + artbook only) on day 1 but I only start seriously playing it now, when I bought the digital version at discount
Don Bradman Cricket 17, Ni no Kuni 2, Monster Hunter World, Monster Energy Supercross, MotoGP 17, and some GT Sport.
I am losing hope I will find decent amount of time to play games until summer holidays. Until then, I am stuck in exams...
PS4 — Driveclub, Everybody's Golf, maybe some more Crash 2
Wii U (Wii Mode) — Super Paper Mario
Switch — Lode Runner, Mercenaries Saga Chronicles
XB1 — ?
No gaming until very late Sunday night at the very earliest as Im away with all the other Noisys. I forgot to take the vita, at least Britains got Talent was awesome.
Have a great weekend everyone!
@Fight_Teza_Fight What do you think of Final Fantasy VI? I've never played FF1-6 before, or 8.
@Deadlyblack Same here. Well there is also The Lost Frontier, but I'd have to dig out my PSP or PS2 to play it.
No clue if Lost Frontier is backwards compatible with Vita though.
@Dpishere I tried to play the Metal Gear Solid HD Collection a few years ago, lost interest very quickly. Should I even try playing 4 or Rising: Revengeance?
@KratosMD I recently watched a friend play Wolfenstein...looks fun but I'm still ehh about FPS (or anything first person).
@Enuo Glad you're enjoying God of War 3. I recently started playing the series last year, made it to the beginning half of GoW II before I got distracted. I want to go back to the series, but I've got so many PD4 games I want to play/beat first, it'll be awhile before I make myself dust off my PS3 and boot it up.
@wiiware I'm still playing Horizon: Zero Dawn for the first time, just beat the Grave Hoard and cleared most of the available side quests and errands.
I plan on returning to the story sometime tomorrow if I have time, need to put aside time for TV shows with my mom.
@b1ackjack_ps Ratchet & Clank is a great remake, you won't be disappointed! I'm still hoping for another Ratchet & Clank game after Insomniac is done with Spider-Man.
@crimsontadpoles How could Rockstar remove songs from an old PS3 game? You already own the game so being worried about it being pulled like Alan Wake was can't be the reason.
Also GTA 4 was fun, but I had to cheat to make it to the ending. I still need to play thru both DLC expansions before I move onto GTA 5 on my PS4.
@Wazeddie22 Welcome to my world lol. Amazon switched us to four 10 hour days a week schedule. I have literally no time to game during the week now, only on the weekend.
I owned Okami on PS2 and PS3, never played due to the painting style gameplay etc.
Resident Evil 7 looks like fun, but I want to beat RE4, Origins Collection, and Revelations 1-2 before I touch it.
@Gamer83 What do you think of Bayonetta? I own both games on the Wii U, started playing the first game and lost interest once I reached the car battle scene.
@sinalefa Why the rush? KH3 still doesn't have a release date, there's no deadline. You could always pause KH2 and come back to it at a much later date.
@Neolit I member that South Park episode. Do you member?
@PS_Nation What are your thoughts regarding Ni no Kuni II so far? I loved the first game but got tired of the constant grinding and need for gold, dropped the game before I got to meet the next party member in that town with moving buildings.
@ToddlerNaruto To be honest with you, I'm not enjoying so much as well. Like you said, the constant grinding is one of the reasons. The characters still didn't grow on me like the cast of the first game. Anyway, I played only ten hours, I will still stick with it.
@ToddlerNaruto I missed out on some of the earlier Final Fantasy games, so now I am playing through the series catching up with the ones I missed. Pretty convenient that Vita has access to FF1-10:2.
Out of the earlier FF titles (1-5) I really enjoyed 3 (the remake) & 4. The others are good, but didn't really grab me. I'm still early into FF6 (~6 hours), but it's looking like the best one yet! Really charming party, the script is hilarious, the Magitek armor stuff is cool and the art is stunning (some of the backgrounds ). Something pretty unique happens towards the start of the game- which I won't spoil, that makes this game stand out from the rest. Definitely recommended.
@ToddlerNaruto GTA 4 is fast approaching its 10 year anniversary. It seems that some of the songs in the game have a 10 year licensing agreement, and that Rockstar is going to release a patch that will remove those songs.
They did the same thing with the PC version of San Andreas as well.
not sure really, maybe messing around on Overwatch with some mates, finish off FFX and maybe mess around on STO
@FullbringIchigo How many playthroughs does that make for FFX for you? I know this isn’t your first. ;P
Anyone has any idea why I can't download Yakuza 6? It's 24h to release -.-
@ToddlerNaruto I couldn't say as I never played Metal Gear Solid 4 or Revengance, if you didn't enjoy 3 in particular those are unlikely to change your mind though. Snake Eater is one of the best ones.
@ToddlerNaruto
I'm a big fan of both Bayonetta games. Liked the story a bit better in the original but the gameplay is improved in 2. The first game was annoying me at one point when I first started playing it back in February (I think it was battle just before the car scene) but I think I wasn't playing it right and I'm short on patience sometimes. I took a break from it to play Bayo 2 and when I went back to 1, for whatever reason, I was playing the game much better and having a lot more fun.
@AFCC
some games dont let you preload expect it to be midnight before you can.
it will be worth the wait been playing it all weekend
@Th3solution 11 or 12, i'm not quite sure anymore if i'm honest
@FullbringIchigo 😱 That’s a lot!
@Th3solution not as many times as i have done 6, 7 or 9
i know 7 like the back of my hand, i even 100% it, i literally did everything you can do in that game
@suikoden I managed to do it from the store on the pc webpage!
Don't know why it didn't work on PS4 but even the demo didn't show there!
@LaNooch1978 same thing last week. Sadly this is 2018. We live from week to week.
@PS_Nation Hi, did you end up liking Ni on Kuni II after playing more of it? I'd love to hear your opinion.
@Fight_Teza_Fight Wait, all of FF1-10-2 is on Vita? I forgot all about that, huh.
I think I'll save up and buy a Vita later this year then, thanks for the tip!
@Neolit I noticed, the Horizon ending scenes changed alot after I beat the side quests.
Also nice to meet a fellow South Park fan. Any news on when the next season is airing?
@crimsontadpoles You were right, they ended up replacing some of the songs supposedly.
Hope you're able to find them though.
@Dpishere I might revisit Metal Gear series eventually, but it'll probably be awhile before I do.
@Gamer83 Thanks man. I'll get around to playing the Bayonetta series once 1 & 2 are $40 New or cheaper on Switch.
@ToddlerNaruto Definitely check out the library if you’re interested. It’s a great legacy system. You’ve also got Metal Gear Solid 1-3 & Persona 1-4 amongst other collections.
My vita game library must be approaching over 150 games lol 😅.
@Fight_Teza_Fight Oh I won't be playing any Vita games that are also available on PS3/PS4, just the PS1/PS2/PSP games.
I was referring more to Vita's backwards compatibility, doubt my Vita library will grow to more than 10 actual Vita games.
@ToddlerNaruto Hi, it didn’t change my opinion after 20 hours. The side-quests are really repetitive and the main campaign is not so interesting like the first game. The characters are also not so remarkable. I also don’t care about building the kingdom feature, the game tries to be a lot of genres. Anyway, I will still try to finish it because I hate to quit after I start a game, lol. Right now, God of War is the only game that I’m playing, my focus is 100% there.
@Neolit Oh yeah, it always starts in the Fall. I member now .
@PS_Nation Sorry to hear you're still disappointed with Ni No Kuni II compared to the original.
I'll get around to beating the first Ni no Kuni eventually, after I've beaten most of the PS4 games I've been wanting to play.
