June PlayStation Plus Games Announced

Might give it a go. Never really play this genre (xcom) but could be interesting. These free plus games have introduced me to some new genres before

I don't know how well xcom plays with a controller but I'll happily try. Another really solid month, yey!

Nice...XCOM 2! I probably won't ever play it tho, lol. I have 3 versions of the original (PC, PS3 and my phone/tablet) and never got very far. I looove the gameplay, but I just lose interest so fast for some reason.

The next time I really get into this genre will be when Mutant Year Zero: Road to Eden releases...

Nothing for me this month. Heard plenty of good things about XCOM but it's just not my type of game. Trials Fusion looks dull to me, too.

So was Xcom 2 ever patched, it got talked about a lot in the review.

Also sounds difficult, which isn't for me.

The only two I don’t own are Squares and Atomic Ninjas.

Trials and XCOM were both let downs for me. Trials especially after the previous games in the series.

I’m actually glad this months Plus and Games with Gold are pretty poor, I need to catch up on everything before September.

Xcom 2 was impenetrable to me. Played the tutorial and first level or two, then it got way too complicated. Not a fan of turn based games at all, although I did adore Steamworld Heist - only one ive ever enjoyed! Still, any month where I dont own any of the Plus games is a good one.

XCOM 2 - Nearly purchased Deluxe Edition in recent Sale -

Does it get any better - Enemy Unknown on PS3 was awesome, taking me back to Laser Squad Days - for those old enough to remember that Turn-Based Behemoth.

Will i need to have played the first XCOM to understand the story?

Almost bought Trials several times.

XCOM isn't my cup of tea.

@Danloaded Nope, all different characters and essentially a different time line to the previous game.

Trials fusion looks fun but xcom just doesn't do much for me. Hated the first one I played on the PS3 and people were saying it was amazing, so it's probably just me on that one.

A strong month for who? Not me; have TF and zero interest in XCOM. In fact, the stronger the month is perceived, the less I am interested in the offerings. The last few months were meh for me.

When you're more excited for the PS3 content...cause you already own the PS4 games xD

Not a big fan of XCOM. Probably won't bother with it.

I have trials but none of the others - really excited for XCOM been a long time since I last played one say psone?

Not a great month for me. I don't like the XCOM games and Trials Fusion was given away on Xbox around a year ago. I know that for others, this may be a 'great' line-up but for me personally its not a good month.
Before anyone says its 'better' than 'Xbox' this month, I agree that a bundle for Smite and the third AC: Chronicles (to go with the 1st and 2nd that have been given away) isn't 'enthralling' - although I will actually add AC to complete the set. I have no interest in Sonic Racing but will add Lego Indy 2 (as I have the first) so at least there is 'something' new for me.
I have GR:FS on XB360 and maybe would have added Zombie Driver too if these were playable on PS via BC but as I haven't turned on my PS3 for years now, I won't bother with these - at least for those who still use theirs, its better than the usual mediocre 'indie' game.

On the one hand, I'd prefer to play XCOM first... on the other hand, XCOM 2 is preceded by a whole backlog of XCOMs instead, even in its newer franchise life. So much for "2". XD Trials Fusion is welcome on paper, but after 100%-ing Pumped BMX+, I don't know when I'll recover enough nerves for another playthrough in this genre, let alone where I'll have to spend nerves AND mobile traffic. XD So it's a nice pair but I probably won't even download it immediately. PS Plus has got me entertained on the console as it is - after getting back more or less stable RP connections recently, I unexpectedly found myself drawn into Just Cause 3.

Too bad Zombie Driver isn't cross-buy, but at least both titles are on PC - since setting my eyes on a GPD Win, my inner fox has been more content with such PS3 "grapes". Squares on Vita might be another drop-in-drop-out puzzle to keep around if its size is comparable to Furmins, but I'm more curious about Atomic Ninjas. The THIRD game about ninjas I'll be getting on Vita, but a seemingly vivid platformer, and one character is even my namesake. XD

@b1ackjack_ps hehe I haven't, thank God! It would be a bummer! Even though I don't have an active subscription, I'll rather buy it and have all the other games in addition to this one. Anyway, this is another great month indeed.

I was about to buy xcom like four times on sales... Glad i didnt. Good month for me.

Great month and 2 awesome games on the PS4. Anyone still playing on PS3 has a decent selection as well.

See you on the motorbikes gents. @glassmusic is spot on, bar a few easy trophies the Trials plat (actually most of the gold trophies) is unobtainable to me. Its still a great game though.

Not a bad month.loved the first Xcom but never got round to this one.Trials is a fun game for a twenty minute session but the rest I'm not so interested in.Ah well,it's not like I'm short of games..

Xcom is great but has now been bettered by some Rabbids in my opinion!

Not really my cup of tea and my sub runs out on the 1st but I am waiting for the days of play and its sales because subs are supposedly going on sale too

@Flaming_Kaiser Oh I see..Have you maybe tried it on the pro? I have played Enemy Unknown, which I really enjoyed, on my pc and I hadn't the chance to play this one, yet, so I thought this might be a good opportunity.

XCOM2 is a quality game. I defo recommend it to any strategy/turn based game lovers out there.

I know it's not for everyone but Trials Fusion is one of my favorite PS4 games and a big reason I bought the system.

Xcom 2 is a brilliant game, play it with Iron man mode enabled if you want to play it properly.

X-Com 2 is an awesome game to choose. It’s still like $30 too, so that’s a great deal. I’ll have to play this soon enough.

I'll add Xcom 2 and Trials to my library. Not sure when I'll get around to playing them though. Still going through God of War, just started Detroit: Become Human and have Yakuza 6 waiting after that.

I dont like strategy so as usual I will just add to library and not bother downloading. Kudos for a strong title even if I will never play it. Maybe my bro will have the patience for it.

I often comment that there's "nothing for me this month", but this is why I keep getting PS+ - even if you ignore the discounts and other more minor benefits, it only takes one or two months like this for an annual subscription to practically pay for itself.

I have a hard time with accents, and I gotta tell you, the British accent is one of the hardest to understand. Where abouts are you from in England?? I've heard that the UK has different accents depending on your location.

Nothing personal against you, I hope you understand that. It's just very foreign to me... Plus your a Giants fan, we share the same stadium! And if obj stays healthy and Barkley survives to his potential, y'all will give the NFC east a ride for their money!

@NYJetsfan123 I'm from the UK and yes with all have different accents but where you have it via say states like Texas or New York etc ours we call regional so in a way you could call it states lol. Where I am from it's called the Yorkshire accent but we have North, South East West Yorkshire regions lol, it's like a state/region and divided again inside that.

Many times I've had people say they don't understand me probably why I don't chat to randoms online, had bad experiences with Xbox live

Seems ok but when PS PLUS loses it's free PS3 and PSVita line up of games each month it won't seem worth getting PS PLUS for me :-/ I couldn't care less about online play so I don't need PS PLUS for that. If SONY could throw in say 2 free PS NOW Games each month to then I might keep PS PLUS going. Oh well.

XCOM, although not massively my kind of game (turn based -yeesh) has been in my watchlist for a while, just to have something different to try. Happy to try it for free!

Already have Trials Fusion, but it's a lot of fun so another good edition.

@Gamer83 Trials is a good 'palette cleanser' in between games I find. It's fun, although infuriatingly difficult the further you progress!

I could see that. It's a copycat game but I downloaded Urban Trial Freestyle for the PS Vita years ago and enjoyed it a lot so I'm looking forward to giving this game a try when I get the chance.

@Gamer83 I found that when I first got it I would play the early stuff non-stop because it's so addictive, but my interested dropped once I got to certain levels that are just really, really difficult! It is a fun game though for sure. Enjoy!

It sounds very similar to the u.s.

People down south have a very thick accent. It's all different based on location. I am from the East coast and have had people out west tell me I have a 'funny' accent. That's why I was curious where Sammy was located. There are some British accents I can kind of understand and others that I couldn't even begin to decipher!
