As promised yesterday, Warner Bros has finally unveiled the heavily leaked LEGO DC Super-Villains with a CG announcement trailer.
The colourful video features Joker, Harley Quinn, Poison Ivy, and more as they terrorise the citizens of Metropolis. Details are slim, but hey, this is a LEGO game -- we know the drill by now. The game is set to hit PS4 on 16th October, 2018.
Will you be playing LEGO DC Super-Villains one way or another this October? Spray paint a statue in the comments below.

That's a pretty good trailer.
Right before Red Dead Redemption 2.
RIP, or at least thats what every comment in a release date article says XD
Different target audience on this one, I think.
I'm not a fan of Lego games, but man, I love that box art. lol
Great trailer!I love a good Lego game even if half of them are full of bugs/glitches etc.
@YummyHappyPills to be honest this game excites me more than Red Dead Redemption 2.
What's with everything releasing in October????
@Tasuki Or everything releasing in September to avoid October...but no one thinking for a moment that months AFTER October exist.
Certainly looks better than the Lego Incredibles game.
That season pass announcement at the end reminded me I'm still waiting to play Lego Marvel 2 we got last Christmas b/c I'm still waiting for the rest of that season pass to come out, I think it ends w/ Antman & Wasp.
This will probably be a Christmas gift for my son from my mom, that's done.
@YummyHappyPills The months after October are November and December when everything is on sale so it would be hard to sell a new $60 Lego game on the shelf next to a $30 Lego Incredibles and $20 Lego Marvel 2 from last year.
November is all about Black Friday sales which basically last all month long these days, not a time for buying new games at full price. And December, well nobody is buying anything full price in December. This game will be on sale for $40 in December, they need to get as many full price day 1 sales in October as possible before that happens.
I think Nintneod does several of it's games a disservice by releasing them in early December, XCX was one. Nobody is shopping for new games a week after Black Friday, we're all shopped out. Sure, the fans who are waiting will buy it, RDR2 can release whatever day it wants, same for CoD or GTA, but a game aimed at kids like Lego needs to be out before BF when parents are walking around stores and looking at Amazon for stuff to buy. People aren't causally shopping in December.
@rjejr The sales of XC2 say otherwise buddy.
But yeah, people are overstating how much of an impact something like RDR2 will have. It wont knock every game for crying out loud.
@YummyHappyPills Not XCX2, XCX. But neither has sold over 1 million, probably b/c they both released in early December, which is a stupid time to release a new game.
@rjejr Errr...XC2 sold over 1mil bud. 1.31m to be exact.
I love playing Lego games with my wife so will definitely get this. More likely around Christmas though, not at launch.
No chance. Nowadays Lego games are unfinished, buggy pieces of crap. Great concept as usual, but I'm not wasting my money again.
This looks great and as there's nothing coming out this Xmas that excites me, apart from the rumoured Splinter Cell if that comes out at Christmas, I may buy this. I loved LEGO Marvel Super Heroes, I haven't played the sequel yet.
That trailer got my hyped, but will wait for gameplay.
